That flimsy-ness is just how it is. I bought my black/blue 2DS XL brand new and it also has that slight flop. So do not worry, it is just how it was manufactured! :)
I have the same 2DS as you, the wiggle is not from use lol. You’ll get used to it, you’ll find it charming after a while! XD

As many said - wiggle is by design (but yes, it's a little annoying). The most annoying thing however, it's how stylus with time starting to fall off from it place)

I really enjoy the playful asmr you've been doing for your intros, It's a great lead in to the cozy vibes that follow. Also I feel like Nintendo did an amazing job with the 2DS designs, I had the poke ball 2ds which actually had the release button from a poke ball on top you could press. And yes the hinge was a bit floppy lol. btw congrats on 5k subs! You deserve all the support! ❤😃
My favourite 3DS console variant, I use mine as my main system. New 2DS XLs have the best special edition variants of any Nintendo consoles imo.

I have a 3ds and 3ds xl. This 2ds here looks like an xl edition. Very nice. The ds had so many great games.
