      I don't fw Bassy at all. He acts as if everyone else is to blame. He rode on the coattails of being Stephon Marbury's cousin and the LeBron hype train, but in reality, he wasn't particularly outstanding and doesn't rank among the top 10 NYC point guards.     Telfair is bitter as hell. Whether he got taken by Adidas or not (we dont know the deal) but to say others wouldnt be who they are without the shoes deals is off. Those deals gave them prominence, yes, but as Matt said they still would be ballin’, still would be stars and getting bank and these deals later

All of these major sports apparel brands have clauses in their contracts that say your contract is void in the instance of conduct detrimental to the brand. None of these guys can be involved in crimes and expect to be a Nike player or adidas player.

    Bassy is a cautionary tale. He’s so stuck back on his HS glory he can’t take accountability for how his immaturity led to him losing the adidas deal and not sticking with an NBA team for more than 2 years. Adidas didn’t force him to get into the street nonsense as a professional athlete. I hope he finds some peace & accountability

      Sebastian’s mistake was skipping college. Even just one year - to learn how to work at the next level and the right mindset to thrive once he reached NBA. Marbury did that at Georgia Tech.

      Dude was one of the greatest players at a young age. But it didn't age that well when he went pro. He was a decent NBA player making no mistake about it. I'm not hating on Sebastian telfair what he did as a youngster is unbelievable. But it seems as though material things impacted him and such a way because of where he came from and the way he valued those things.     Just to let y’all know a few things, the boardwalk photo shoot was his senior year because it was my freshman year that was 03-04… and Coney Island is the best neighborhood of ballplayers in Brooklyn possibly the city altogether not being biased we just do Crown Heights would probably be second
