Alice has always been a wonderful sensitive artist with a high caliber of technique. She's fortunate that DG decided to pick her up because the classical music world is awash in brilliant artists, and having THE premiere classical music record co. behind her puts her right up there with the likes of Helene, Yuja and Maria Joao. Which isn't to say she doesn't deserve to be...she does. Lipatti was the greatest. Such a pity those recordings taken from Vinil records have not the accuracy of the nowadays CD-s...this is a loss for all great pianists from the first half of 20-th century..
@renatoaranha not only chopins of lipatti, also Scarlatti's he was amazing. don't forget the new artists benefit the quality recording which he didn't had the chance to benefit as well .
