Men den er sikkert gone by now..
I was there 2 days ago with a friend of mine. He told me that the cannon was actuality from a ship. And not the original one.He showed me the book about karven fort, which he was trying to sell.Lot of pictures and history. But it was not in English
Hi, I Have an original photo at 8:49 with a cannon I think that was the first one. Did you enjoy the area ? there is a lot of area to explore, sadly some of the bunkers are sealed. have you been here ? ua-cam.com/video/-LU_i2xmirM/v-deo.htmlsi=lvsycqRCWJ9WrhE4 Fjell fortress it is on my other channel.
@soulsplorer Yeah, I was down at the Torpedo battery as well. We were contemplating climbing down the shaft (in our best die-hard manner) but figured it wouldn't be worth the hassle. For the simple reason that everything is dark and probably full of rats. My friend had been there, way back when they sealed it off. Not inside, but he had been fishing when it was almost completely sealed.except for a small opening and didn't think anything off it because the fish was biting by the dozen. Than when he came back next week, it was sealed off. He showed me some pictures from the book when we took a break. Translated some of the text for me. Was truly interesting. I would totally have bought the book from him; if it wasn't for it, it was all in Norwegian. We didn't see the opening you climbed through. We tried to find part of a plane. But all we found was lots and lots of blue berry's.(They were big and yummy.) But we asked an old guy we met, and he told us it was supposed to be straight up to the left, from where the cars park. But he doubted it was anything left. He told us at best you can probably see some scars in the terrain based on how things grow.
@@soulsplorer I'll ask my friend if he still got the book or if he has sold it off. And what it says about the canon at the view point. But it was he who told me it was a actually a replacement forma ship
@@johnnyguitar6639 The cannon was put there in 1948, as my research told me. Veldig interessant video!
Veldig bra film.
