Shaggy's biggest complaint is when Beenie Man signed the biggest deal in Dancehall/Reggae to date, which even land Beenie winning a Grammy for Art & life as a follow up and he Shaggy hated on that till this day. He even told Winford Williams from On Stage saying Beenie getting that deal and not him was his biggest regrets in music since Virgin Atlantic Records dropped him(Shaggy) and picked up Beenie Man

Managers must realize they cannot be winners unless the Artist play big; putting his/her heart and soul into the production of a fantastic tune 🎶or whatever. Shaggy should have made some "percentage arrangement" instead of letting this man-a-ger state that "everything was in my name," kind of a deal. We know who had the handle plus who got the sweeter part of the revenue. Dah! ⛔This was Jamaica in the past.🚫 Artist can't live off "good song man," they need the money with the fame. They need to get their "income" for the job they did and "not just one lump sum" but, incentives💰💵 for times their music is used🤔‼️
