what a great treasure and such a generous treat that you have shared the opening of it with us! I think those blue blossoms in the huge green urn are wisteria…right color and probably a good facsimile to the flower. That may be a “split stitch” used on those red tulip-like striped flower!😊 Thanks again for sharing! AND! I literally gasped when I saw the big red house revealed!! Such treasures!! Loved the happy little voices of small children in the background. It is a fun reminder of my past years It is also a timely reminder for us to be patient in waiting for the reproductions to be ready. Enjoy your babies! Classics such as these never go out of style!♥️
Sampler #1: I love specialty stitching! I wonder if the smaller red things on each side are peacocks!? You definitely have your work cut out with this one. I love the bunches of tulips! ♥️♥️♥️ Sampler #2: I’m so sorry about the packing tape. It’s so pretty slso. I love the moths too! It’s an old one too. Sampler #3: You have your work cut out, girl!!! That’s a beautiful house!♥️♥️♥️ Your kids are darling! ♥️♥️♥️
It appears to be a French sampler. The first two words are French for this by. The last word could be her full last name. Those stitches around what remind me of tulips seem to be a stem stitch, with the long stitch at the end. It looks like you also have French knots. The linen I’m not sure what it is. It’s a courser linen or ground cloth of some sort. And I loved this video! It was so exciting to see originals. Your last one you showed…Muah! Love love love it!
Wow! So much fun! Yes, will be excited to see your reproduction of the first and last ones. You’ve done a beautiful job with the moth sampler already 💕
So so love that you shared this with us, and the beautiful kids I remember mine used to do the same....hahaha! I already had told my kids about your other patterns that I want for my birthday next month I will have to add those so gorgeous I am going to check out the moth one. You are so talented and blessed day!
