Carrefour ‘Security’ Padlock Picked

This is a cheap padlock from my local supermarket. It boasts a ‘security’ label but this is nothing but marketing fluff, as it is about the most standard lock one can buy.
Due to lack of security pins, I reckon these locks can be easily raked open if their key has poor bitting. This particular one however I selected for its interesting bitting which, in combination with the paracentric Yale-style keyway, makes it not entirely trivial to pick. This shows that even a budget lock like this can offer some decent value for money when paying attention to the bitting of the key.
