Most people who use these places end up there because they’re done with their night, missed the train, and need a place to crash. You’re not expected to leave your room vacant for extended periods of time, so these kinds of locks are sufficient. The thing about the culture here is that security-wise, the bare minimum is enough. I’ve seen mall shops literally hang a net over their goods when closing at the end of the night. Even the way people lock their bikes here or hang their smartphones/wallets out in the open in crowded areas would never fly anywhere else.
When I visit my daughter, I stay in a Microtel. It's smaller than a normal room, but giant compared to these capsule hotels. I really don't need a large, extravagant room, so I agree, I would be all for smaller, less expensive rooms in the US, much like the one in the video.

@@marcioborgesreis9066 It is the right kind of ethnostate. Sub-Saharan Africa is full of low-Iq ethnostates but are outright shitholes.
That is really cool. Wish we had something like that here in the states.
Dei Like e me escrevi.
thats awesome, i really wanna try it one day
An amazing place for a cheap price. Best regards from Brazil
The only thing that worries me is the insecure door, which is more of a lockable curtain than a door. Other than that, it's really cool.
Very well done. Love ❤the value and the complimentary food. One question is if the corner of desk is it possible to bang into it
Lmao 😂🤣😅 May I ask why an amusement park?,.
Always a good option for an unplanned stay. Usually a bit of paperwork when you sign up for membership.
I wish we had these in America. It would make weekend trips affordable.
When I visit my daughter, I stay in a Microtel. It's smaller than a normal room, but giant compared to these capsule hotels. I really don't need a large, extravagant room, so I agree, I would be all for smaller, less expensive rooms in the US, much like the one in the video.
Give it a day or two and everything would be broken and stolen. It's impossible for the people there to not act like a Monkey for a minute.
@@Waaaltz_why are you talking about Brazil???
@@Waaaltz_Spot on, the society in this country is barbaric and disconnected from one another.
would never work, these only operate because of the respect in japans culture
the rice and curry all you can eat + the egg is a big winner
