O'Connor show I watched, he invited Dr. Justin Sledge of Esoterica in the show they discussed, The History of Yahweh - Storm God to Israelite Deity (With Esoterica/Justin Slesge). What Daniel is point to here is based and it's not hidden if you care to look deeper. The northern tribes and the southern tribes of the children of Israel had conflict of interest when it came to the question of the God of Israel, some promoted monotheism and others were polytheistic in their approach to God.
