The "Terrifying Future of Theme Parks" or Just a Cool Water Slide Roller Coaster Concept...

Wiegand Watterrides announced a new Water Slide Roller Coaster concept the other day which The Sun brands as the "Terrifying Future of Theme Parks". A bit of a huge exaggeration obviously. However I was going to do a video about this water slide coaster concept anyway so here are my thoughts about this one.

The Water Slide Coaster concept will see a trolly latch onto water rafts in a slide and propel riders up to 30mph down a water slide. Obviously such a slide would only be found in water parks (not theme parks). At this stage this is just a concept and several people have already reacted about safety concerns.
Would you like to ride such a water slide? Does it really benefit the experience over a gravity one considering the modest launch?
