The thing that is going to stick with me from this video is the part where you mentioned not to expect to throw the best throws you've done. This whole off season i've been in a rut and I would step up to each teepad expecting to throw the best shot I've ever done on that hole before, without setting reasonable expectations. Going to move forward into this year throwing the best shot I can on a hole based on how I'm currently throwing, not how I have thrown in the past.
I don’t know what I was expecting from an expectations video, but now I know to expect the unexpected. Obviously there’s exemptions to that rule and I need to accept that when dealing with expectations.
Recently found your channel. Great stuff and keep it up. Can’t wait for the 50k day for you. I really like the new 5 day format, very professional. Also love the new attitude. I’ve gone back and watched a bunch of your old content and the change in positivity is noticeable. It’s early in the process but you’re onto something.
I play a lot of disc golf in the snow and cold my bro. Loving in MN, if I wait for nice weather, I'd miss out on playing about 5 months of the year. Got to get out and do what you love.
I think your physical reactions to your bad throws/putts can really effect your mindset. Gotta keep positive going into your next throw. If you like philosophy, “what is the most important step a man can take? Always the next one.”
I feel like you can have expectations and focus at the same time. If you miss, and don't reach your expectations that just means you can work harder. And if you meet your expectations then great, set higher ones. But not setting expectations because you won't meet them makes no sense. That's like "don't try, never fail" mentality. Expectations are important to push yourself. And focus is a totally separate issue
Think of a Venn diagram. On one side you have things you know you can control, and the other side is things you know can’t control, and in the middle is things you can influence. If you find yourself getting flustered by things you can’t control, just remember, they are on that “can’t control” side and therefore don’t try to control them. If you can put it in the “influence” section, do what you can (but don’t over extend) to influence them. If you know you can control it, do what you know to do to control it. For example, let’s say you have a tournament and it’s in the rain. You can’t control the weather, but you can influence your prep and play ie. Bring towels, throw more conservative.
this is just something that i've heard that may help...but if youre going to go play a snowy round, leave your discs in your car overnight because snow wont stick to frozen discs, and that might help someone's mental during the round.
Hah, a couple of us played iterlocken today with this same mindset. We just decided to suck it up and play and work on mentality in a non ideal round. It was honestly kinda decent. Round wasn’t, but the mentals were.
I have a block that you might be able to help me fix. My distance is weird. I can regularly, and with relative ease, throw my putters 300'+ I'm somehow struggling to get my driver's past 400'. I've gotten close to 500 once, but it's not very often. Is this normal? Is there a way to fix it? Is it actually an issue at all?
How is that terrible weather. Looks like good time. Maybe you should consider dressing up to the conditions. Like you literally are exposing your ankles while walking in snow. Dude :D
Being in the discord and starting trading is literally changing my life l'm starting witha small $18,500 account but I got it up to $96,000 in one week! Not a lot of money but that's a big growth for me 🎉🎉
YES! that's exactly his name ( Richard Wayne ) I watched his interview on CNN News and so many people recommended highly about him and his trading skills, His an expert and I'm just starting with him 😊.
I'm happy to see Richard Wayne mentioned here, my spouse recommended him to me after investing $4000 and he has really helped us financially in thu times of COVID-19 lockdown here in Australia.
You just have a bad attitude, JK. I wonder if playing only scoring rounds would help. Of course you should play a practice round first, take notes and then play a scored round, absolutely No Second Shots! You almost have to get better if you do this.
I appreciate you and your dedication. All sports are easier with longer levers, thus why women look for talls. You will never be on a even playing field so all your perspectives are welcomed.
I've watched your content alot and every once in awhile you're just not that good. Today was it. This whole expectation nonsense are for Ams. You are a semi-pro and need to keep expectations every single round!

Played in -28C the other day in 1 foot of snow. We have snow 40% of the year… yesterday was my 111 week straight of disk golf. 😅
That's just too cold. In fact anything 40f and down is too cold for me lol.

I appreciate all the little editing touches you're working in recently. Looks really good!
Nice weather, greetings from Finland 😉
Looks like fun playing in the snow! This week in Texas we got a little snow on some courses.
Been working on my forehands, and I'm proud to say mine are starting to look like that last shot in the video. 💪🏻😤
Thats not really snowy. Love from Norway
I appreciate you, Anthony. Your content is top notch my guy.
Good to see you improving your game and being an inspiration to others to do so! Michigan winter is fun to play in you should try sometime lol

Couldn't sleep. Love that we get a new Bodanza video
I honestly think that is the actual game in life in general. Everything else is just different ways to play that game.
As an am player bouncing around 900 rated, in the snow/coldI try to prioritize getting pars on tricky holes and go after birdies on easier ones
I had to go to Idaho for work & took 4 discs with me. I had fun playing in the snow but I won’t do it again. 🥶
Played a round this past weekend in Canada, and it was -56°C with the wind. Needless to say, eyelashes were stuck together frozen

I was out there today. 3 under, no bogies. Good day.

It got to below zero the other day here in NY... I'm gonna wait to upload more videos 😅
over in michigan vibing. similar conditions and back at the gym. the struggle is real... or is it.
I hurt my hip when I threw off some lose leaves and sticks, so not playing in the snow

Not sure how you can play without warming up. Didn’t warm up once and my arm hurt for two days
Theres no way uploading this late is ideal
Nobody stops you from watching it the next day 😉 and besides, here in France it's perfect to watch with breakfast and coffee !
Maybe he gets more views from Europe (the continent not the country) than the US 😮
@@ladiscuiterie ...algorithm.
@@irjoeliusEurope isn’t a country, you don’t need to name that distinction
@itsThan_ I felt like I had to explain that it's not a country when talking to an American, sorry 🤭
What are u putting with now, still p2x?
Idk who need to hear this but Its ok to dress warm and disc golf
Cheese is good
lmk if you need some white tube socks to cover them ankles. i got plenty.
Embrace the suck! That should be your attitude when it comes to playing in less than ideal conditions.
