Ughhh Mattel!! When will they get it! I’m not impressed by these sets 😩 I don’t think attention to detail is that hard to understand lol. Like it’s such simple things that would make these modern Polly pockets so much better! Fill in the little details with color, for the love of everything that is good stop with the GRILLS! The bowl in the cupcake one upset me for real 😂 Like it doesn’t even fit , the birthday one , why didn’t they fill in all the candy detailing on the floor, that would’ve made it so much better. 😩 All in all the cupcake one is probably my fav, it’s really pretty. Just wish they’d pay more attention to detail. Awesome video as always 💕
I think they must be trying to offload their surplus of grills onto us or something. 😂 There’s just no reason for them to be included in so many sets. Yeah, so many details lost unfortunately, but sadly that’s to be expected at this point. 😭 The cupcake is really pretty and sweet! I just can’t get over that little opening piñata in the unicorn piñata set though. 😍 It’s just so cute! Have you seen pictures of the Mama and Joey set coming out? If not, be sure to Google it. OMG!! I bought the cupcake and it is very cute! I hadn't paid attention to the piñata! It's practically a Mexican party 😍😍😍. i feel very happy that polly pocket has released a set with a theme of my country 😍😍😍
I think my favorite of the three compacts shown is the cupcake. I am a sucker for pop-its and of the three I think it is the cutest. I'm honestly not a fan of the fabric flowers on the llama. They will deteriorate or get ruined very easily compared to the molded shell of the original llama. Always amazing to see what is out there though. Happy Halloween and may it be a safe one ^-^
The cupcake one is adorable! 🥰 And yeah, the fabric flowers could get ripped pretty easily. That’s what worried me with sets that had squishy features a year or so ago, since squishies rip so easily. I’ve always been careful to limit my squishing of them. 😂 Happy Halloween! 💕👻🎃
My personal favorite of the three is the piñata set. But piñatas have been done a lot in Polly Pocket, so if you’re wanting a more unique set, I’d go with the cupcake. It’s a cute theme and I love that you get girl and boy dolls. I can’t really recommend the llama one, since it’s just a remake and not necessarily done any better, except for the upgrade to plastic Polly instead of rubber legs. And I might like the background stickers in the newer llama set more than the old one. Oh the other hand, I prefer the older llama set because there are fewer pieces to deal with. Hopefully this helped and didn’t just cause more confusion! 😂💕
I will always have a soft spot for Polly Pocket, but it is disappointing to see how little effort Mattel puts into these. Even the keepsake collection lacks quality. The packaging is more luxurious than the toy itself. Having said that, I am always hopeful that they will do better, and I’m always curious about what’s next. Thank you so much for your videos!
I do wish Mattel would put more effort in. I just try my best not to compare modern sets to the vintage ones or I’d be in tears from the disappointment. 😂 I do like the modern ones still though (just not as much as vintage). Being able to buy brand new sets and experience the fun of exploring them with my kids is worth it. And then I get to share them with all of you as well, which I love! 🥰💕💗
Oh! And I hope you’ll check out the video I put up today, showing the new Keepsake set, Mermaid Dreams. I think Mattel finally did an awesome job and hopefully you’ll agree! =) 💕
They are cute. But not that impressive 😕 A couple of details are great like the litte Pinata but what I most dislike is the color palette 😬 it is just a bunch of colors mixted together without making any sence~ neither coheisive and matching nor realistic. Nope~ not impressed. Not bad but not very good eiter I think😅
Lacking for sure, as usual. 😂 Somehow I still keep coming back for more! 😬 They have a hold on me, I guess. 😅 I honestly do enjoy them though, even if they’re no where near the vintage quality. @@RachelRetro You would be surprised how many of the new Polly sets I actually own 😉 I just don't display them nor show them on the channel anymore. But whenever our local discount store has some of the sets for reduced price, I pick them up. Most of them I never unboxed and most if them are in storage. I kinda get them more out of a speculation reason. I wanna keep them a long time and see if they will become valuable in the future with the generation that grows up with them now. At one point I will unbox a couple more of them. Most of them I DO like actually. Especially the ones that have nice color schemes. And just yesterday I picked up 2 small ones for 1€ at my local flea market. The ones that have the kinda picture frame that you can pull down similar to the old lockets (the honey bee one and the one with the non-removable puppy on a trail 😆) Of course I watch your videos. I really enjoy them. I like listening to you and the way you show things 👌 Now I have to watch you new video 😁

I understand not displaying them though. Most of my new sets aren’t out on display either. I do have a couple of my very favorites on a shelf, but Vintage Polly is just generally much more pleasant to look at. 😍 The new ones definitely get to me out of curiosity as well..seeing what they’ve changed, how they’ve improved (or not 😭). And it’s just fun to have multiple generations of Polly Pocket. 💗 I actually quite like that bee one and puppy one! Still the only two I have of those, but a store nearby claims they have others at a decent price, so I’ve been tempted to go looking. 😅 And now here I go to watch YOUR new video. =) 💗

I love that they made the little kangaroo a compact too and it fits in the mommy’s pouch! 😍😍 Such a cute design! I hope it comes out soon! 💕
