Purchased the Ace 400 when it was released and I’m looking for one that’s fully submersible !! You missed a golden opportunity for a completely new package, IMO !!
Cant wait to try the apex out... ace apex is sounding like its going to be a great machine... just gets the juices flowing to think what else there is to come 👍🏼👍🏼
You need to bring out a box cover for this, I don't want to get that nice screen all dirty and scratched up, and when is this coming to the uk mines on pre order can't wait.
I have been thinking about getting the Apex I do have a ACE 300 and love it but not by Salt water so I use a equinox 600 on the beach 🏖 but the Apex looks good so if I do buy it I will do some videos hunting with and show it off to my Metal detecting Channel members . I have liked Garrett for a long time happy to see this detector and I’m excited about it 👍
It would be interesting to know what higher frequencies the machine reaches in simultaneous mode, above 20khz as suggested in the comments on the interview? Many thanks and looking foward to seeing more on the Ace Apex. ATB MMMD
The 4 known frequencies are harmonics of 5 kHZ. So any additional frequencies sampled above 20 kHZ would be the same 5 kHZ harmonics. IE 25, 30, 35 & 40
I never understand why companies only put new products into the hands of fanboys for a lack of better terms. Some of us went from the AT’s to the Equinox. It would be a better testimony for Garrett by putting the Apex into the hands of those who know how to use the multi frequencies. I had an Impact but the frequency channels weren’t great. Now I watch Garrett users try and use this and it’s not impressive to me because they seem very unsure of themselves. Cmon Garrett, expand your testers
This looks like a great machine, however I think Garrett has missed the mark by not making this machine fully submersible. I am looking for a new machine and this would have been the one, but it can't be used for water searches. I mostly hunt on land, but I want to be able to have the option of detecting a swimming hole or lake when I am out, and it just doesn't deliver.
@@The_Essential_Light Yes, but the AT Pro is older tech. The Minelab Equinox, Nokta Simplex, and Nokta Amphibio are all multi frequency and submersible. They are the "competition " for Garrett's Apex, yet Garrett failed to make their machine comparable to that competition by adding that feature. In my opinion, of course..
@@nepahistoryandarchaeologys8623 Simplex and Anfibio's do not run multiple frequency's at a time. Apex is considered a entry level machine and competes with Vanquish's which also are not waterproof. Talk of a Apex AT machine in the future.
@@ncgruntdiggers An Apex AT would make it a much better addition to Garrett's line up for sure. I'm really curious to see some comparison videos with all of these new machines in different hunting situations. I just still feel that Garrett could have knocked it out of the park if they made this machine submersible. Thanks for the info!
If the garrett company is going to put in a built in battery in all theses detectors why don`t they make them so it easy for us to replace it ourself . They would only have to sell us the right battery that we can buy off there web site or other metal detecting web sites. If they could do that then i think more of us would buy that type of detector. They would have to do the same thing for the built in battery wireless headphones. If I was going to take out a wireless headphone built in battery & I might break it. but if you made it easy to take it out , then I wouldn`t have to worry about breaking the headphones. I hate built in batterys that can`t be taken out .There is no need to have to send the whole detector back to garrett for a battery replacement
@@The_Essential_Light What @Frank More says applies equally to Apple iPhone. ANYONE using a non-user replaceable battery in their product is doing it for only one reason. I need not tell you what that reason is.
Great machine but I wish it was waterproof. I hunt a lot of beach and rivers and not waterproofing it was a mistake IMHO. Always used Garrett but now I'm forced to a different brand. 😢
I wanted to buy Apex here in Germany and the price is unfortunately too high 579 € sorry I would have had many who also wanted to buy one went to Makro Simplex! Too bad the price breaks a lot I buy because Mars Gauss MD unfortunately what you want to do. The first accessory Apex 0 Waterproof 0, a shame nice detector only the price will keep people away! 399 € would have been ok or 299 € like the simplex which is waterproof!
Will there be a sniper coil available for the Apex?

I have 2 Garretts & an 800 but I'm really interested in the Apex.
Congratulations Garrett Team 👍👍👍
Awesome News! Im looking forward to it!
I hope to be able to get ahold of one of these Apex in the future.

They will be saving that feature for the at apex

Ok I am convinced. I thought my vanquish would be enough but tbh I am very unsatisfied by it. I will get an apex.

Apex depth and tone was terrible it would make deeper items tone as Iron and crazy TID numbers at depth
