I really appreciate how detailed these tutorials are and the English subtitles! My grandmother was Japanese and I never knew her well enough to ask about things like skincare and makeup, and my mother is Irish and naturally blonde... when I did my makeup like hers I usually ended up looking rediculous. Western makeup techniques don't flatter Asian features, even for those of us who only speak English! XD

Kathleen Hernandez i can relate. I am half Chinese and the other half is a mix of German, English, Welsh and Irish. I remember trying to emulate Caucasian celebrities, classic and modern, like Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Cheryl Cole, etc. It upset me how I couldn’t do it. Turns out I should be looking at doing makeup like Asian celebs and Caucasians with hooded eyes like Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone and Blake Lively. Although I don’t really copy celebrities anymore, just do my own thing, but you get what I mean :)

I preferred the Korean voiceover with English subtitles instead of English narration.

Maybe it's so that we dont focus on the subtitles. If we focus on the subs we might miss the tutorial itself
