anyone here after the passing of Vialli?
R.I.P Gianluca
We had some really good players back then. Zola and LeBouf were world class. Di Matteo was our Lampard before Lampard.
Liam zola was hazard
Willian Borges da Silva lmao so true
Zola was ABOVE World Class.
And haters keep on saying that Chelsea had no history not until the Russian came in....
Kas Barlow well not far wrong though are they
Why comment then, or even watch the vid? Stick to your own team nonce.
Chelsea should have won the Premier League during this era!!!
My golden era, when football seemed so important...
Vialli's goals in those moments when we were having difficulty in Tromzo were fantastic
How I wish I could go back to 1997/98
Went to all except Betis away. Great memories. RIP Luca
Still one of my favourite Chelsea era's ever!
Same
Special
The Snow make football cooler.
What a team, brilliant individuals playing for each other. Blue is the colour!
At the Time I missed the Winner By Zola in our Local Pub when Zola came on as a Sub I ran for a Piss Thinking I had time for a quick Pee and heard a big Scream I knew Chelsea Scored.
I will say I pissed my leg as I tried to get zip up and got my Mickey caught in the Zip it was Painful but worth it Come on Chelsea.
Also Zola is my all time Chelsea Player I wear 25 on all my jerseys Also Zola has the same Birthday as me 5 July Zola Was Born 66 Me 65.
Great seeing those goals again even if the film for Zola's in the final is back to front. 8-)
We had so many who could score.
Raam Perumal but against those opponents you and me would got a few
back when the Italian have so many good players....
Thanks to Italian players...
I wish i could witness the greatness back than (i wasn’t even born)
We got plenty of history
R I P Gianluca Vialli
Wise and Petrescu were needed by Liverpool at this time
Both Vicenza games so below par, somehow squeezed through courtesy of Sparky's best ever goal in blue in his final season at the Chels!
Italian winner in blue shirts
Good old days.
Yawn how sad that fans of other teams spend time watching chelsea videos and then make comments that suit there agenda
I don"t know what game Vicenza fan was watching to say they were robbed!
Yes I remember
One love
The double was the FA cup not 'league' and I swear Flo scored in the snow at tromso?
no the fa cup was the season before when ruud gullit was player-manager and the league cup and uefa cup alongside the uefa super cup were all won in 1998 when gianluca vialli was also player-manager.
The Azzurries Foreigners. Calcio had 21 teams now

ITALIAN JOB!!!😉
Boss Chelsea side.
When CHelsea were likeable
Wait why exactly aren't we likeable now. We literally have Kante. The nicest man in all of history
zola
It put on a plane home from Stockholm and it landed at Luton, my car was at Stansted where we left from. I think they just wanted us out of the City.
what
Couldn’t have had an easier cup run if they picked there opponents themselves
Boo hoo.
It was more competitive than now with the “Europa League” obviously tromso are farmers let’s be honest but back then the quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final were challenging, real betis were a good team at that time and I don’t really know much about vicenza other than they’re shite rn and stuttgart were really decent back then, only zola carried chelsea in that final and he even did it again in the uefa super cup against real madrid, nowadays only the semi-final & final are good that is if you don’t face any eastern european farmers in them.
That's the beauty of straight playoff format though, none of this drawn out meaningless group stage bullshit. I wish UEFA would go back to the 3 proper cup formats and make Europa League playoff format again. Alternate midweeks that CL/EL/CWC are on so every cup is Tues/Weds instead of these Thursday night bullshit schedules that make clubs not take the competitions seriously. I'm sick of the 'Champions League or bust' mentality of bigger clubs now who don't win shit but still whine about playing "Champions" League every year.
Cheaters, Vicenza was robbed at Stamford Bridge
You remember the game detail for detail then? 😂
@@joefrost8215 Yeah, you know, as a Vicenza native I can't forget all the decisions in the second leg
Inter0190 I’d need to see it again to be honest, it’s a blur, all I know is our goals on the day were class.
