Talking flowers and plans

Plenty of people grow fantastic harvests.. I am not one of them. However I still find my allotment very helpful in teaching me about growing plants, caring for them and designing the garden.
This update mainly looks at flowers which are blooming, and little creative interventions. As well as how I am going to adjust my expectations for the plot, considering how many rats are nearby, and work more within my resources, possible starting a Social Enterprise. And keep reducing the food sources and habitats that rats so love. Sice getting rid of my compost bays there has been a lot less activity. My next step is to build a sturdy worm bin and concentrate on growing flowers for cutting as well as other ideas.
I do wish more people without gardens had allotments because it would help increase the community feel, and our wider support network.. but appreciate that it takes a lot of time to work an allotment. And many, many demands on our attention!
I get a lot of help from friends and can't always do what needs doing because of health issues..
But hopefully it will pay off. I want to by set up with friends a Social Enterprise, and be a local resource space for small meeting and talks.. as well as lovely bunches of flowers 🌻
