Hi Carson, so glad that you got your much needed moisture with snow and rain. It is always good watching the herding of cattle on horseback. Horses are such majestic animals and it is good they can be used on the ranch to help with herding. Good to see Trump doing so well and doing his job. It didn't take long for Dutch to warmup to you.
I love waking up in the wee hours of the morning, then can’t go back to sleep and finding a new post from Carson! So happy you’re getting some moisture. That grass will surely start to grow now! Praising Heavenly Father! Thanks for sharing the cattle drive. I need some chocolate!
It's good to hear you got all that snow and rain. I really enjoyed your riding horses while you were talking to Jaques and what he had to say about his aunt.
Sending more moisture your way on Thursday night and Friday. You gotta be glad calvings over. Yes any moisture we can get this time of year, truly is a Blessing. Just st as long as your not calving or lambing. Thanks for sharing and bringing US along with you..
Good old Trump and Rosie that dog starting to warm up to you can't wait for more videos God bless you and your family staysafe Carson and Damaris God bless stay safe
At 16:42 Rosie's eyes are big and looks like she is saying ME TOO. Very glad you got some moisture, many farmers are still dry. January to May we can only burn if the ground is snow covered and need a permit so they know who is doing it (no kids) and when you are burning. Glad your pen only had a little damage. Hope school is going well and you all stay safe and healthy. I have a kid graduating this year and I am very happy.
Just found your channel today. I've not prayed specifically for your area to date, however I have been praying for years for eastern Colorado because I have an Instagram "friend" that has shared about their need for moisture. Then last fall we did a crazy long road trip with our camper. When we crossed the Mississippi and went as far north at Nebraska, west to Moab, and south as far as Amarillo...we saw 1st hand the lakes and rivers that were obviously suffering from drought. So, now my prayers go north to the beautiful badlands where I did get to visit back in 1994. Jesus, please bring the rain.
Clear about 20acres of land of mostly poplar. the following year in December I started to burn all the piles. Was finished early February. It burned underground until mid April and came up and started a swampy area on fire and was lucky to get it stopped just before it headed into the neighbors fields. That was a terrifying afternoon.
So glad you got some moisture...I guess some is better than none....I see Dutch is starting to get used to you....Maybe sometime he will ride in the tractor.....With all those cows and calves mooing..you would think they were getting weaned....Looks like a great day....Have a great day....
Hey Carson, I'm so happy you got the snow! Spring snow is great moisture and poor man's fertilizer everything helps. planting is just getting started here in Wisconsin everything is behind it's been wet and cold. I'm afraid it's going to be late May before I turn out on my leases, I'm preg checking Saturday morning then I'm ready.
Awwww spring sorting. Has to be done but sure one that takes some time. So good to see some green in your country. South of you in the Sandhills, we're still waiting on moisture so it can green up. Looking forward to following along as you drive 'em up to to the forest permits for the summer.
It’s nice to have different brands we had 5 brands in Colorado we branded heifers calves every year with a different brand helped with known the age of them in the heard FFI
We have eight more days of rain here in Oregon, on the way to a all time record for rain for April. Hope it makes it your way. Crow Peak on the horizon?
Carson nice to see, when doing you're round ups & sorting; you do it 🤠 style, olde school! It seems the modern way is to use ATV's & UTV's; that's cheatin'! Ha!
Maybe somewhere there's a used in good condition water truck or get large water container like those who go around detailing cars etc. Put it on a tractor or side by side drive around putting the fires out.

If he is interested I'd love to hear a bit more of Jauques story. Or if you shared it before which video? Sorry if I spelled his name wrong. Watching you move those cows with horses just looks so right! With the price of fuel now I bet it's a lot cheaper too.
@@sleepranch thanks. I am a Chemistry teacher, teaching in Muscat, Oman. Been out here teaching for 15 years. Originally from Zululand. South Africa. Grew up on a sugar cane, cattle and forest farm. Wow! Great video! It takes a lot of patience to do the work you do with the cows! That patience will come in handy in all your life journeys.
Like seeing you on your horses. Seems like most people use 4 wheelers anymore. Thanks for another great video.
Thank you Guy!

He might! Thanks Ellis!
“Nothing as good for the inside of a man than the outside of a horse.” I think that’s Gene Kelly’s quote. Glad you got the moisture.
I like that and I think it’s very true!
Nice seeing you use the horses. 4 wheelers have their place but nothing beats sorting horseback.
I agree Jim, thank you!
Takes some skill on the part of horse and rider to maneuver cattle, especially that number. Thanks for sharing.
