Try a Dimple Motor Oil Magnet 🧲 drain plug it works amazing! There are to many stories goings around the web of those fumoto valves failing, plus you don't get all the oil out when you use a valve. Thanks for watching, please like & subscribe.
How many miles on the oil change? I looks like the oil has been in the engine a while. I change my oil (Mobil 1 0/20) every 5 to 7 thousand miles. A new engines oil should be changed after a few thousand miles because all the moving parts are wearing in and making its marks. Your oil filter doesn’t look like it had Mobil 1 in the engine. If it did there’s something wrong with that engine internally. There should be that much metal on the drain plug, or the oil filter. I would send a sample of oil to Blackstone Laboratories to have it analyzed to see what going on inside the engine. It’s like a blood test for an engine.
Hahahahahaha, that's not true because that's a new motor, plus I got the same results from my other new car. These magnets are so strong and catch a lot of the ultra fine particles that you normally can't get. Both of these engines are still going strong, my friend. As far as engine oil, I've run Mobile 1& Shaffers two of the best engine oils on the planet.
Now you mentioned Mobil that why it is producing so much carbon and sludge build-up believe me Mobil is just good marketing hype there oils are not good at all Valvoline extended protection, Kendall GT Max Gen3, Amsoil Signature series, and Redline are much better than Mobil and as for Schaffer they are reasonable good quality but not as good 4 I mentioned all of these is from my 21 years experience with these oils. But at the end of the day, we all have our own preferences. Stay blessed and happy 😊
A clean motor makes for a happy truck. Another great video brother keep up the great content.
That's true!
I just got a k&p filter and Fumoto drain valve on my truck and I think that’s the best setup

With a GM motor you’ll probably get a lot of metal shavings.
Hello. What is covered? Powder paint? Is the coating resistant to road reagents?

I know I posted a question to the part two of this video, but how often are you suppose to clean this filter?
Just clean the filter every time you change your oil.
I understand but I’m using Amsoil SS and I could possibly go over 10000 miles.
@@SilverAlert1 that will be fine.
Or you can just clean the filter at 5000 miles and add a little fresh oil to keep it topped off.
Dear Sir, the amount of sludge build-up you are showing means you current engine oil is very poor quality.
