    Tommy Davidson is the REALEST💯
Worked on The Proud Family with him back in early 2000’s and he was always genuine, honest, upfront, fun and funny, and ALWAYS made work the most enjoyable experience (for everyone; I was just a PA at that time - he used to call me ‘Baby Boy’ bc I was fresh to the industry 🤣). NOTHING BUT RESPECT BROTHER TOMMY💯🙏🏾

I can relate. I was abandoned at 2 yrs old at a bus station in Brazil where I was born. The local police brought me to an orphanage and I stayed there until I was 7 when I was adopted by white Americans and brought to America. I experienced some of the same things Tommy Davidson did in regards to my own race and learning what it is to be a person of color in America. I did all the dumb shit that "they" make you think you supposed to do as a black man. Wasted yrs of my life in institutions, just to realize at 28 that what I was doing was wasting my life living a lie. I am now 42 and I haven't been back. I have a family, cars, a wife and a job..peace of mind

We dont all hate you 🤣 you do have friends and allys 💪I used to get annoyed when I saw statements that may insinuate that all white people are racist for the selfish reason of "hey im not a racist" but I realised thats not the way to go about it because its bigger then me, we need to stop letting racists think that they have the support of every other white person, they read the comments saying that they have this massive support group and they start getting bolder. The truth is they are played out and alone. Single them out. I actually feel a very small bit of pity for racists, how ignorant and small minded they have to be to hate someone for the colour of their skin or the language they speak. What really pisses me off tho is now that they arent as comfortable being open about it in fear of losing their jobs, they hide behind the safety of a youtube/instagram accounts and the shit they feel comfortable saying iirks me that bit more because the dont have the nuts to stand by what they are saying in real life with their identity attached to it. Just a bunch of sad little trolls.

In the black community, when you're well behaved, respectful as a teen it's considered lame or looked at as negative. Cussing, picking fights, being arrogant and ignorant is viewed as a good thing. Growing up, it's all we knew. It's hard to rewire and reprogram the adult mind when as adolescents, our whole universe revolved around fitting in and doing what our homies was doing. It takes a strong mind to be different and be who you were destined to be. Salute to this man for being himself.
