We must have heard some very different discussions because I've seen almost Tergrid levels of hatred for Voja and quite a few people who want him banned and/or point to him for everything that's wrong with 2024 magic. Not that I neccessarily agree with that. My personal favorite commander of the year was The Pride of Hull Clade.
Watching this made me realize Crimson Vow was *3* years ago now, shows how much stuff happened that I still think that set is recent. And also how my interest in MTG got really worn down in these last few years, to the point I couldn't even name more than, like, two commanders that interested me this year. The one new commander I can actually remember making is Haytham Kenway from ACR, azorius knights was a fun way to be aggressive in a color pair that's usually more control oriented.
I know people hate the AC set, but I think some of the cards are absolute wins for flavor, Altair takes dead assassin's, turns them into genetic memory and then let's you summon the full order when he swings, he's the progenitor of the Creeds order.
8:51 Venser....ummm please, no one pay €21.20 for a $0.17 card

I was lowkey expecting Nadu's second trigger to be first place on the worst list

I actually like modal riku as a card, its fun building a deck around something weird like modal
That jumpscare sound was unnecessary

Ok, obeka isn't worse it is different, giving upkeep decks. Ones that wishes it could run paradox haze in the comandzone.
