Whether or not Julie can yet hear and understand what her dad says when he reads books to her, to me, it's a very refreshing idea that he at least look at the pictures that are in the books with her. It's good therapy for her to know what she's looking at. It would also help her learn the true meaning of what books really are and what they're all about. It would help me smile a lot, because, I know I'd be helping her learn. Not only to teach but to be a close friend to her as well. And when I'd see her smile about it, that would mean a lot to me. Thank you for posting this.
