I mean, like what's your point here my man? It's like saying oh the bigger the position you occupy, the more work you've got to do. That's commonsense. Shying away from it by saying that it's more work just shows your ignorance and irresponsible behaviour. It's not the story of the saint who left everything and became a wise sage - that also requires a lot of work. Nobody is wanting to be a sage here either. So what's the argument here, besides escapism?
@spellsword64 That's not what I meant. I’m not talking about the amount of work required for a higher position, but rather the disproportionate tax burden on high earners, which takes a larger percentage of their income as they become more productive. The whole "sage/saint" analogy seems off-topic. This isn’t about ‘escapism’-it’s about pointing out an economic system that discourages productivity and investment. If working harder and earning more means an ever-increasing percentage of your income being taken away, that’s a massive disincentive for growth, innovation, and entrepreneurship. If you want to work your ass off to earn more just so that you can pay disproportionate amounts in taxes to daddy government, that’s your choice. But you should also recognize that the currency in your bank account can easily be created as a debt, with interest by the same government that you paid your taxes to.
I was in middle east but came back to India 6 years back as learning and career growth was very good in India at that time. However, quality of life has degraded significantly in India in last 2 years. Cities are overcrowded with heavy traffic, very less open space or gardens, and poor infrastructure. Cost of food and rents have shot up, rupee has depreciated, taxes are a huge burden. Schooling is cheap or as much in middle east as in India. Only companies in India with decent salary and culture are global capability centers i.e. back office of MNCs. Having worked in them, I can tell you that roles offered by these companies are mundane, repetative tasks which havent been automated yet, requiring very littile or no brains, they are only here bcoz of cheap labour. Seriously considering moving back to the middle east!!!
Its a difficult question. I lived in 4 different continents over 25 years. While the landscape of immigration rules keeps changing worldwide, fact is that there will always be a filter - they want productive people to boost their economy, not anybody and everybody. Its not a universal opportunity - and whatever opportunity is there today, it may disappear tomorrow - like USA canceling birth citizenship for children of non-citizens. If you are qualified to go (meaning your skills have greater value somewhere else), and you dont go, it is a missed opportunity not only for you, but also your entire family tree - your children, their children, and so on. At the same time, if you have a good life here already, maybe you want to weigh the pros and cons. Who should not go .. older people, who may find the culture shock to be too much. Younger people will adjust to changes better. Older people who are willing to take that risk, can still go. The best age to go is early in life. If your kids are in college, etc and you have only few working years left, dont go. Your life is already set, the upheaval is not worth it. Creating a new life in a foreign culture is a young person's game. How long to go- maybe just dont think about that before you start - go first and then figure out how long you want to stay - that will keep changing, for sure. Most people stay until retirement, or even beyond. Some may return to be with aging parents, etc. Think about what is your motive - more money, less tax, better infrastructure, better opportunities for kids, education, faster career growth, global exposure, luxury lifestyle, escape from societal pressures, freedom of individualism, more control over life... And keep that motive always in focus, so you remember why you are outside one's own country, which means facing many challenges and adjustments. Remember, opportunities will not always be there waiting for you. As the saying goes, time and tide wait for no man. As more and more Indians emigrate, there could be a backlash, and closing down of borders. A day may come when emigration becomes almost impossible. (Why this backlash might happen .. at some point, when immigrant population in a country becomes large and visible, there is a political movement in fear of locals becoming minority in their own country. It may not be a real threat, just a perception - but it can lead to change in the political situation/leadership of that country. Immigration would become an issue then). Why you should try to hold dual or multiple citizenship, if possible.. Wars, immigration changes, racial discrimination, economic depression, even natural disasters in your new country might force you to move back home, or emigrate somewhere else. Identity is the supreme reason for staying in your own country. When you emigrate, you will stick with Indian values, but your children will not. With every generation born in a new country, your family will become less and less Indian. Intermarriages will reduce percentage of Indian DNA in every generation, until one day, your great -great-grandchild will not look, talk or think like an Indian. dude we are paying 30% tax and then 18% gst and tax on everything in India.. expensive hoga but no tax sounds super awesome. And India is no longer cheap. going to Goa is costlier than going to Thailand
@@DAANISH_KHAN_ Lol It cant be higher than India. GST on every fucking thing , LTCG, prperty tax in addition to 30% tax on income. And check how costly hotels and flights are in Goa...its cheaper to go to Thailand and Vietnam than travel within India. Dubai has no tax and if you compare with Ind, salaries are higher thats why people are wanting to shift. Even financial influencers from India are advising the same
In Dubai, you need to spend lots of money to feel rich, everyone is splurging around you. In India, you can live happily with spending even 1L a month, you can lead a nice lavish life. So for average people India is best. For HNIs who have more than 50Cr, maybe Dubai is better.
Every Indian should have 1 more country, for their lifetime.. 2 countries, India+ should be the new normal... It opens mind and welcomes new opportunities..
100% agree with you! Everything that glitters is not Gold ! But there are people who like to live in concrete jungles ! And don't want to see their own country grow up ! Instead of leaving India why can't you work for the betterment of India ?
People having government jobs / established (small/medium)buisness should prefer not to go . Youth joining job market should definately go because there are no labour laws in India. 15 hrs daily works for 12000 salary , private firms are becoming insane.
You will see a lot of advertisements to start your business for AED 6000 only but the actual cost comes to AED 45k for the first years and then a minimum of 16k for every year that too if you don't have any fines on your company ! For every employee you hire you have to she'll out AED 8k atleast for every 2 years of visa !
As a person who has lived in UAE for 7 years , maybe i can share some insights . For anyone reading this , reply to this comment i will answer your questions .
I work for a non Indian company Ceo is non Indian I wear dress of non Indian brands I buy phone of non Indian brands I eat fruits of Italy and France I use olive oil, imported I use shoes that is imported Kyun me India me rahun?
My take is not be Krantiveer in india as system is very oppressive. live your life family first mode and if you get opportunity go abroad earn enough. when you have enough money then you will be in sane mind to make right decision.
Guruji apney apni pichey ki kisi video mein uae ko sirey se kharij kar diya tha.... ab golden visa ka sunkar apki bhi vichar badle badle lag rahe hain😊
Dubai is ok but property value is high but still better than India. Only one thing missing is connections to the people back home. UAE has no salary tax now but still in the form of charges! I love UAE better infrastructure clean air and law to follow. But people are too much creative traffic congestion.
I've lived in a couple of European countries, now I'm in Prague. I always had plans to return permanently to India, but the plan just gets extended year after year. For some reason India looks great only from outside, when I visit for a month or two I feel like when will I return back to Europe. . Having said that, the closest place in Europe to Bangalore like feelings is Prague, I highly recommend people to consider this place.

This year I had to pay 25% surcharge on tax because my income crossed 2CR so yes, taxes pinches hard in India. However, I lived in different countries and each has its own problem. I can take internal transfer to US from my company but I still prefer to stay in India. There are lot of reasons why but mostly it comes down to personal preference and situation. I don’t think things here in India are as bad as people keep cribbing about especially if you earn well. Nevertheless, the taxes you pay in India is like charity for poor people you have to accept it and move on.
Well said. Average monthly salary here is 16K. People earning >1L think they are poor. Also, whatever little infra & services available are from govt: airport, expressway, iit, aims etc.
income tax rebate leads to more spending More spending leads to over consumption (which is already high in certain class) over consumption leads to inflation. Inflation leads to adulterated substitute products in markets to keep the cost under control.
Im living in dubai very happy in india my package was 18 lakhs but still i left india because of heavy taxes, in uae my stand of life is very high compare to india and im saving more than india with my family. Im very happy and don't wanna back to india
6:00 Wrong information. President executive order are valid only for 100 days, and that birthright citizenship order was also put on hold. my federal court. If Trump wants to remove birth right citizenship, he needs to get 2/3 approval from both houses of senate. Unlike India, even you own party can vote against you in US. If somehow this happens, second step is 75 % of the states legislative assembly has to pass that. Then only constitution can be amended to remove birth right citizenship. 22 states of US have already sued Trump just to give you information. To give example in Indian context, if tomorrow government puts resolution to turn India in "Hindu nation" then 2/3 of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members have to approve it. Then, 75 % of Indian states, 21 of the states Legislative assembly also needs to approve it. Keep in mind, in US states have more power than states in India. In US, there is 1 US constitution but every state has its own constitution. So total 51 constituition in US. Many state constititio would consider this whole thing illegal.
Sir i'm what you might call somewhat wealthy. I will be really wealthy in 5 years due to some real estate gains from ancestral land. Im in my 40s but thinking to leave by 50. Main reason is the kind of people coming into the cities nowadays, the lawlessness, no quality of life. Tax also plays some part but mainly im sick of the people here. It was not the case 8 years ago but somehow all the rogues of India have come to the roads in the last 8 years and mostly after covid
I lived in USA between 2008 and 2012, at the height of economic recession. Life was beautiful for me. But Americans wanted to run away from USA. That pent up anger connected with Make America Great Again campaign and got votes for Trump.
Sir, coming from someone having spent 34 years in Dubai - high rents, duopoly of internet, TV and telephones, high water, electricity and cooling, housing tax even for tenants, general inflation, millions of ways to spend money in UAE. Calculation needs to be done if net net this works out to 40% indirect/hidden tax or more?

There is no tax in UAE but it is expensive in other things. Every country has its pros and cons.
dude we are paying 30% tax and then 18% gst and tax on everything in India..
expensive hoga but no tax sounds super awesome.
And India is no longer cheap.
going to Goa is costlier than going to Thailand
@@Coversongszone Its absolute myth, bitter truth is UAE is highly expensive. Indirectly you will have to pay 4X tax than India.
@@DAANISH_KHAN_
Lol It cant be higher than India.
Much needed video❤
Every Indian should have 1 more country, for their lifetime..
2 countries, India+ should be the new normal...
It opens mind and welcomes new opportunities..
100% agree with you! Everything that glitters is not Gold ! But there are people who like to live in concrete jungles ! And don't want to see their own country grow up ! Instead of leaving India why can't you work for the betterment of India ?
Someone fooled you, there are many better areas with decent rent options.
Just like Reservation was a policy to enrich USA, same huge tax is imposed to enrich UAE
To hum karle agar itna hi easy hai
People having government jobs / established (small/medium)buisness should prefer not to go . Youth joining job market should definately go because there are no labour laws in India. 15 hrs daily works for 12000 salary , private firms are becoming insane.
Do you know what the "youth" does in Canada, Portugal and Spain? How many hours they work after paying a hefty amount in Donki?
Its absolute myth, bitter truth is UAE is highly expensive. Indirectly you will have to pay 4X tax than India.
Simple rule-earn outside where ever possible and spend jaha value for money mile 😂

My take is not be Krantiveer in india as system is very oppressive. live your life family first mode and if you get opportunity go abroad earn enough. when you have enough money then you will be in sane mind to make right decision.

For some reason India looks great only from outside, when I visit for a month or two I feel like when will I return back to Europe. .

Also, whatever little infra & services available are from govt: airport, expressway, iit, aims etc.
income tax rebate leads to more spending
More spending leads to over consumption (which is already high in certain class)
over consumption leads to inflation.

Laws are very tough here and your single mistake can lead to dent your future plans.
@@jonam2608 Yes, cost of living is quite high in Dubai. The good part is you dont have to pay tax, so instead of paying to govt. without getting anything in return, you pay to these companies and get their services.
If you want to save money, dubai is not the right place. you need to look at other GCC countries like Kuwait, Bahrain etc.

Forget about good. roads ( waterlogging every year, electricity and water issues)
