stop going for weapons mid fight, this how you lose health obviously. U have to upgrade weapon damage with xp if you want to do more which is better spent on moves. Once you get all moves you won't need for anything but posture maybe. But posture is good for getting hit, but if you dont get hit?? boom. Weapons are there to throw, throw all weapons till they break on someone this how you truly get thru the early stages. GET ENVIRONMENTAL MASTERY. THROW SHIT.

I love the way you play. it's by dying a lot in this game that you become really good. little trick in the room with the two mini bosses and lots of light bulbs, just press B continuously and the lamps are sent back to the faces in bursts

Some tips for the next 3 bosses,
-learn to parry, almost every attack except orange attacks and grabs can be parried
-second, for a combo, i'd recommend you the heavy-heavy-light-heavy combo, that combo does wonder
-lastly,if you can buy skills, buy the charged heavy, you can time the charged heavy to stop the bosses attack altogether.

the strongest skill in the game is the inside trip, try to get it next time its really good for damaging structure and it puts them on the floor, you do a push (A+X) then just spam Y, after that u can spam RT and go for the B ground punches (whenever an enemy has a weird shadow radiating off them they can be pushed) (can also be pushed once their structure is broken and u can do finishers, its useful to not do finishers in certain rooms such as 14:05 and 18:35 as it can make the guys mini bosses)
