Nah everyone keeps saying that now but u have to look at the other side of the coin: yeah momentum and stage time are cool, but playins also means that u have to prep for 3 more teams and u only have two days afterwards to focus on your opponents in the group stage, u have to reveal some of ur picks and strats while the other teams get to watch ur play; also, it's a stage where nothing is to gain as people expect u to win, but if u don't, ure humiliating yourself and ur region, and people at this point are just waiting to jump on the rogue hate / G2 deserved it more bla bla bla train. I think that they feel a lot less pressured now as they can't fall down as deep and also the mountain they have to climb to make a run isn't as steep. At the end of the day, that's why the format sends the lower seeds into the Play-Ins right? Not for them to randomly get an advantage but rather for them to make it harder and that's why i think it's ridiculous that we are now generally on the consensus that play-ins would've been good for them

And lack of summer split in Vietnam is just Garena being lazy cause Covid and the fact that their contract with Riot ends this season.
Vietnamese teams cannot travel to worlds for a second year in a row due to the country still being in lockdown and I believe they get their visas denied, but I don’t know the specifics.

VCS not coming should of been something that was known earlier or just planned for in case. LEC should of just been given an extra spot in the case of them not coming...I really want to see G2 v C9. Plus who can really say G2 wouldn't have swept aside RGE in a LPL type gauntlet for 3rd seed.
It would make sense from a business perspective though. If TSM and G2 would be added to play-ins, imagine how much viewership that would tract . Honestly it wouldn’t be that complicated to organize and make happen. And yes i know last year SKT wasn‘t added, but to be fair, last year was more chaotic when it came to the tournament, whereas here they knew way in advance that VCS ain‘t coming. But honestly jt would be unfair. U took that minor regions gain the spots wrong. They are still coming the same amount of Teams throught the play in stage its just that minor regions have it a bit easyer to get through cuz its lesser teams for the same amount of play in spots. And to give NA an extra spot would be like the most shameful thing riot could do after psg got further in msi means pcs got further than Na aka pcs is higher seeded than Na. If they would allow 2 more teams to play in it would be lec 4th and pcs 3rd. And not na 4th.
