I haven’t touched alcohol in years and i feel much more clear headed, found time to learn Japanese hiragana, katakana and now onto kanji, also enjoying Ravelry and how great nice merino yarns like Hedgehog Fibres, Qing Fibre, Countess Ablaze and Homespun House are..(ugly and cheap acrylic yarns are soo bad that no one should ever bother with them though!!) you can learn crochet or knitting on youtube. I learned crochet with Happy Berry, made a super colourful cotton blanket first that spices up my sofa and looks really unique. Now making shawls like "Whispering Pines", Stephen Wests "The Doodler" and his "Knit n Slide" pattern... super lovely cardis like Joji s "Longline" and "Comfort fade cardi".. so much satisfaction watching it grow bit by bit and it only takes a month (in 2-4hr evenings) to make even an adult sized cardi and they look great draped over tshirt and jeans or trousers, the material literally lasts for generations too.
