Delhi or Banglore should be given this kind of huge ground , they have great cricket fans. Gujarat is not even a sport loving state , see Asian games least amount of medals , Haryana brought many medals but they hardly have any grounds … this Gujarat shit state wants to host Olympics ..why ????? @@harishXO Half of this stadium is approx. 66K capacity that is on par with 2nd biggest capacity stadium which is Eden, so even 50% will look empty unless 80-90K people attend a match like this in 42 degrees of heat at 3'o clock start. Also the owner of this stadium is GCA, that greenlit the decision of demolishing the 30 years old structure & rebuilt construction contracts to make this stadium back in 2012-2013 when Modi wasn't even the PM. Building such huge sporting facility needs vision & competence from the cricketing boards & authorities instead of calling other states shit out of enviousness, callout your state authorities & cricketing boards. Jaipur, Kolkata, Mysuru are already building new & huge stadiums like this too but not sure why only hate against one state.
