- Unpack with me after 8 months of solo travel through Europe
I don't feel like I covered what I wanted to about my bags in this video. They were definitely impractical, but had a lot of sentimental value to me. I don't regret taking them but I wouldn't take them. I would still travel with less that 35L or so. Even with only a 23L bag I often still felt weight down by the amount of stuff I had to lug around. When backpacking I think less is best.

This video was great!! There's tons of videos of minimalist packing out there, but managing 8 months in different climates+ travel styles with just a 23L backpack is amazing! May I ask you, would you consider doing a video about your budget this months?

thank you 😁😁😁 I should definitely make a video about money but it's a hard topic for me. I struggled a lot at the start, obsessing over every penny I spent and had a super hard time watching my savings account drain. So ended up kind of ignoring it, much so that I don't know the true cost of my trip. I just focused on each purchase, making sure that it was a reasonable expense.

You should have way more subscribers haha. I love your videos! They are so helpful. I’m currently 18 but want to travel Europe in about a year and a half. I’m a musician so I think it would cool to hit major music city’s around the world and explore different styles of music. I feel like it wd allow me grow as an artist. That being said I have a question…Do you think I could successfully backpack Europe with a guitar??
Yess go for it. I honestly considered taking one with me (not that I can really play any instrument except piano). I loved the music scene in Ireland if you've never been.

Great video :). Random question: Where is your accent from? You did mention Australia in the video but your accent sounds different to the Australian accents I’ve heard on my travels. Sorry if this is weird or rude to ask!
Hahaha, not rude at all. I get asked a lot actually, even by people in my home town. I'm from Perth, Western Australia. Born and raised same as the last 3 or 4 generations of my fam. But somehow ended up with a very soft accent, even compared to the Perth accent which is less "Aussie" than the rest of the country.
