Great place to stay and nice walking! In the season it's probably a lot more crowded, but a lot more things to do and everything will be open! Thanks for taking us along! 😊
Glad you enjoyed your stay in The Kawartha Lakes, Kirkfield, Ontario I work at The Shallamar Esso has station on Hwy 48 before you get to the park. Come say Hi!
Ooh, nice that there are a variety of hikes! And the beach area looks great! This looks like a really big park, can only imagine how vibey it must be in season 🥳
Just found your channel. This is only our second season of camping. We also enjoyed Balsam Lake. I will say though that Inverhuron and McGregor are our favourites in the area. If you have the opportunity we were lucky enough last year to be able to explore the parks along Lake Superior.
I really liked this park, especially how the trails connect the campgrounds. The trail with the yellow flowers was sooo pretty 😍 Your private campsite looked very nice. What a bummer you had to pack up early, I guess it is just another reason to come back 😁
You guys always seem to find really quiet camping sites, barely saw any other people in the whole video! The Cedar camp ground looked so spacious, can see why you picked that one.
Yeah it worked out well - half of the park was closed for the season and it was really cold so not a lot of visitors 🙌 I liked cedar for the privacy and trees 😃
Hope you enjoyed touring this park with us! Which campground would you prefer?
Cedar definitely looked best to me. I like having a bit of privacy lol
I have seen so many beautiful and quiet places, and also very suitable for calming the soul, so that it feels more peaceful, thank you for the vlog
So nice of you

Yes it's so nice!! I'd love to go back.
That's a great compilation, the registration office, the water filling station and the park tour. Quite informative.
Thanks very much!

It's a lovely place to go for a walk. In the summer I bet it gets quite busy!

So many hiking options and the beach here was great - but lots of boat traffic.
lovely camping spot!
thanks!
This park looks amazing, would definitely love to visit somewhere like this in the future!
It's a great park - we hope to get back there again next season.

We haven't made it to Inverhuron or McGregor, but hopefully next summer. And I'd love to go up to Lake Superior... so many options, so little time!! 🤣

We really enjoyed this park - and it was so empty because half of the campgrounds close for the fall/winter. It's a great time to go :)
Just finished staying on site 710 in the Cedar campground. Couldn't agree more with your comments.
Great video, a local park to us, go there at least once a year
Thanks! It's a new one for us (well, all of them are!) but only an hour drive so it's very convenient for quick trips.
Nice video...👍😀👍
Thanks!

Great vid as always, I haven’t been to this one yet, looks huge and now I’ll plan a trip.
Are you still planning for Algonquin this year?
We did Algonquin last weekend, so will be sharing that experience this week! Balsam is a great park though - I'll definitely go back.
Subscribing love this vid
Thanks so much!! 🙌
We are 68. Have a Roadtrek (B van) and ebikes. Do you know if ebikes are permitted?
Doesn't say they aren't allowed on the site. But bikes are only allowed on roads and any designated bike trails.
Very informative. Any non electric site would be perfect for this wanderer! Cheers from SA 🇿🇦
They do have quite a few great non-electric sites there 👍
