It was painful watching you struggle with the twisty control. I've come from using a Jetstream Jet-U twisty top for many years. It is the same length as the Lumintop EDC15 but less than half the weight and about half the circumference (thickness) with an aaa battery. I became very comfortable with the twisty. I've owned the Lumintop EDC15 for a few months now and haven't had any issues with the control. I believe that with twisty top lights, timing is important. You need to pace yourself, pause slightly, between light intensity modes. if you change modes very quickly with the EDC15 you'll probably end up in strobe mode. After a few times it becomes natural. I think that if you used only the EDC15 for a while, control would become less frustrating for you.

I am not sure if it is this sample, but I still have some struggles to make it turn on and change modes correctly. I have several olther twisty lights (Sofirn, Nitefox, Lumintop, etc) and with none I have troubles controlling it. Before doing the review, I tested it to see if the problem was mine or not. And although I admit I may not be the most proficient "twister" I guess it was not just on me. But, to each, its' own and I am glad you didn't have issues with yours☺
