Brighton based band The Big Push consists of three front men Ren, Romain Axisa and Gorran Kendall and drummer Glenn Chambers. Drawing elements from classic brit-bands like The Beatles or The Police, they craft their clever modern arrangements into catchy pop tunes.
Playing rock n roll, with a crazed kind of energy and authentic sound, The Big Push met busking in Brighton. Coming from four fairly different backgrounds, they have managed to create an authentic and original sound.
The four-piece sold out their first ever official hometown show at Chalk last October, and followed up with a full-capacity o2 Academy Islington headline in March 2020, just before lockdown hit the UK. Over the last year the boys have created quite a buzz both nationally and to more worldwide acclaim amassing over 1.2 Million streams on Spotify and 12 Million views on UA-cam. Having achieved such staggering success online, their fanbase now reaches across the world.

I don't think a lot of the people who initially left comments here "got" why this performance of Bongo Bong is so brilliant. Sure, the sound quality is nowhere near as good, but c'mon! How can you not be in awe of that extensive improv while Gorran restrings & tunes his bass?!?
There's no truer a test of a band's synergy & skill than to suddenly & unexpectedly REMOVE one member from play, & have the remaining members create something to fill the time until their sidelined teammate can return. This is sheer genius!
And then they jammed some more.
You gotta focus in on the musical performance & ignore the 💩 sound. These guys are SO talented! 😲 Wow. Just wow.

@@ChrisLawton66 Hi there, there are in some other videos. By the way, busking is playing on the streets. They have 3 cube amps and a tower amp for main vocals. Busking is not a gig. There is no PA, instruments are not plugged in to a table mixer etc. No super production. For better audio go to The Big Push UA-cam channel and check their video clips as well as their Spotty. We record the sound we get on the streets, this is busking pure and live, anything else is not raw and it would be a video clip.

Everytime they performe there is a funny weird guy (or woman) in the crowd. Every time. From fellow in the Borat swimsuit to a lady with holahoop 😅. This time it is dancing hobo looking man in the beginning. I love their cover of bongo bongo, but it feels like mics were not connected properly. Sad. Previous bongo bongo cover video, from The Big Push account is so much better.
