This day was really breathtaking with all 52km cycle ride from my home to India Gate and return.
India Gate is one of the favorites among Delhi people specially for Running and Cycling. Although this place is not a regular running track but in morning this RajPath is used for morning enthusiasts.
Raj Path length: 2.5km

Great video, thank you for taking the time. I just moved to Noida and am looking into getting a folding bike and my primary concerns were being able to take it on the Metro. Since this video was originally posted in 2019, any idea if there are bikes that are more compact/portable that in fact will fit through the Delhi Metro scanners, and/or if any rules have been updated by Delhi Metro? Any help, tips, suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance!
By looking your videos, bought same cycle from Saket store as was unavailable in Faridabad.
Try to remove tire with 15 no portable tools and check if this fit size.
As per Delhi metro guidelines "Do limit your baggage to 15 Kgs, not exceeding 60 cm (Length) X 45 cm (Breadth) X 25 cm ( Height) in size. "
though tilt 120 waight is a few grams more than 15kg, but jugaar main tyre dosre ko pakda dena if they are after our life.

So the cycle wouldn't fit in the scanner even if you shortened the saddle stem even further ?
Did you try every way to get it in the metro ?

Yes, you are right. Actually I removed the cycle saddle stem but it did not go inside the scanner machine.
I tried at two different metro. At one place, the police did not allowed to keep on the scanner. And at second metro, police said that they will allow the cycle inside metro only when passed through scanner.
You can also try and see if you find any metro with scanner which is big enough to pass this cycle. And if you find such, please help to comment here.
Sorry for too late reply. I actually shifted to bangalore. I actually removed the saddle, but still it did not passed through scanner.
Bro i want to purchase a foldie for city ride for fitness purpose, you know the indian roads are good now but interior roads are quite bumpy and damaged so do you recomand it or do you recommend and other option for under 20k
Folding cycle are best when you have to frequently travel with cycle in car or bus, but its handling is not comfortable. Go for hybrid bikes, i have been using hybrid for almost daily commute to my office, 22km one side. And its great for indian road, as per my experience. I also used Mountain bikes, which you will see more often people buy. But for long ride, it needs more effort because of friction.
BTW, according to your requirement, you want it for fitness purpose, right? If you are planning to ride on indian roads only, go for hybrid bike with suspension. Like firefox roadrunner Pro-D : www.firefoxbikes.com/firefox-road-runner-pro-d/ Little higher price than 20k, but worth buying.

Sorry bro, I did not tried on bus. As I have shifted to bangalore and in bangalore I asked one of the bus driver once, he said he will allow folding cycle.

Hahaha... Why do they make things that need to be convenient difficult in India? There are no benefits to buy it in India. Why do they need to scan a cycle? Do normal checks as they do for humans. Or make some other facility. And what is with come policemen stopping the cycle. Yeh kosa police Raj hai, some allow, some don't.
