Both teams were stocked with many hall of famers and all stars. Many consider this the greatest time of basketball history. Kareem played a total of 20 seasons. How is that for durability. Kareem was a member of 6 NBA Championships and played in 10 NBA Finals. He was league MVP a record 6X. He garnered 2 Finals MVP'S, a 19 time All Star, 15 NBA 1st or 2nd teams. He is the all time leading scorer with 38,387 points averaging 24.6 points per game...11.2 rebounds per game...3.6 assists per game...and 2.6 points per game. Finally in the history of the game there has only been one player with a definitive shot unmatched by anyone else. That is Kareem with his "Sky Hook" In 74 years in the NBA he is the only one who has shot it. Yes...not the acrobat of Michael or the sheer power of LeBron...but no one ever could stop the "Sky Hook" let alone shoot it.
