HI ...gives me confidence watching these.... I too am just learning and my panels look quite rough against some you see on you tube, but they are mainly exhibition pieces I think ....I like watching yours as its a real life project ... would love to see how it progresses to the metal finishing stages and how much filler/primer you use and see how the finished paint looks .... thanks for sharing.
Hi there, thanks for your message. I'm really happy that you get that feeling, that's exactly what i'm aiming for. This is a custom spare part, not a full restoration, so unfortunately, i can't show you what you are asking for. The standard process generally includes: - Tinning and Leading Repair (in needed) - Spray epoxy. - Filler. - Spray poliester. - Full sanding and lines corrections. - Painting cycle. I hope it helps! I will be happy to see some of your work if you'd like to share.
@@landinihothead Thanks for the reply ...I have just started looking a tfacebook groups and posted a couple of pics on the English Wheeling Machine ITs Use And Its History Group under my name of Chris Baylis so perhaps if you can find that group and join you would see some of them there ... Imight put something on UA-cam one of these days but don't like appearing in person 🙂

Bravo, buon lavoro
Grazie!
Beautifull job really , you don't use flux for welding? Many thanks
Thank you so much! The bars are square aluminum extrusions with the flux already inside them. (KOY523ts)
