It all looks great, but still not a patch on the south island, lot less people down here is great. Pop in for a cuppa when you get this way, I can give you a few pointers about where to go. Brian
This was filmed over a year ago. I think Mothership are in Indonesia now.
We would have loved to get to the South Island and say hello , Thanks, but we didn't have the budget for it this time ...maybe if we sell the boat ;)
Those pine trees got hammered by a large wind storm a couple of years ago, there was a few areas that got hit like that south of Taupo.
Oh wow … we thought it would have been some kind of severe weather . Hate seeing lovely trees devastated like that 😔
