Thank you so much for the amazing explanation! I've taken a 4 month course on Powercenter, and I left feeling so confused. Our instructor always said 'just practice and you'll understand', but so many transformations I couldn't practice with my own scenarios because the logic wasn't explained. Gender column contains an F or M, this will need to be changed to Female and Male or UNK for row that is not F or M

You can use LPAD or regular expression replace for complex logic

Please use router transformation, create two groups in router, age25.
If age is not a direct column, use DOB column to find age and segregate.
