This is a great trick! Learning this also helped me improve my nose manuals quite a lot, especially the exit part. 👍
Very astute, my dear friend! Yes, I considered mentioning that this manoeuvre would help with the nose manual pop out.
Good tutorial Warren! 👍
Thank you Magnus, I would love to see this trick featured in a future FD skate video.

We used to call these "nollies" in the late 80s, before we knew what nollie was.
Ah…. the 80s were a very tumultuous times indeed. Thanks for dropping a comment on this video I appreciate it. 👍😊🛹
Lol i forgot about this trick
It is a fun trick for the whole family to enjoy. 👍😊🛹
we always called it a "chinese ollie" - you didnt have to specify nollie- (probably because as the "Chinese" moniker suggest- it was understood they did things differently there).
Finally, I have found somebody else in the world that called this trick. The Chinese Ollie. I thought I was the only one. However, after some research, I decided to conform to the expectations of society.
Thanks for dropping a comment on this video! 👍😊🛹
@@WarrenLeeds Completely understand, I started skating in 1988- and that's when I first heard the term and saw the trick.
come to think of it, I guess the main reason it wasn't called a nollie back in 88 was that no one was popping ollies (proper ones) off small noses on the street at the time.
@@jamponyexpress7956 Agreed 👍
@@WarrenLeeds I was wondering if the youtube video "Lucien Genand: 'Boardslide Hood'" if at the 2:00 minute mark exactly- is that a Chinese ollie that he is doing. I think it is. If you can take a look at it.
Nollie pop
Agreed!
Pop tart
I love that move!
