Slow Roller Gets OWNED | Hilarious Poker Hand

- Shaun Deeb made a lasting impression on the very first episode of Poker Night In America. Facing an all-in from Mike Matusow, he needlessly tanked while holding quads. The Mouth was not impressed, to say the least. Years later, audacious amateur Jeremy Kaufman gives Shaun his own taste of bitter medicine.

Here's a tip. We don't want to hear the announcers talk over the players. The players conversations are much more interesting and this 2nd poker hand with the trip 2s was ruined by these over eager announcers.
These commentators are amateurish. I'm no prude, and swear like a docker myself, but swearing commentators should never become a thing. Disgraceful
@Hrvoje Odak I believe he meant they are amateurish at being announcers. Not at playing poker. Everyone knows who Doug Polk is.
The announcers were fine.
Yep, I was wondering what's so different about the classic Poker After Dark era broadcasts. It's the balance of table talk to commentary
@Hrvoje Odak Somebody actually self-aware in the comments? Uhhhhhh, is this still youtube? What did I miss
I love hearing announcers clip their mics as they react to player banter that I can’t even hear
Can Dug Polk stop talking for like 10 seconds so we can hear the table talk during the hand !! Holy shit he never stops talking !!
kevinboo2000 Doug Polk is the most fucking annoying poker commentator I have ever heard in my entire life
He never shut up ! Blah Blah fking Blah
FOR REAL
Doug's an egomaniac
+justanotherbum007 -- His wife? With that lisp I wouldn't have guessed "wife" ...
I guess we aren’t allowed to actually listen to table talk, given the never-ending, laughing, giggling, banter, etc. There is a time to listen to the table. Stop yelling BOYS!
Just love deeb's face when he saw the bluff. Seeing deeb lose always makes my day
He's one of the best players to anti-sweat during a pot. Sad that idiots out there actually advocate his slowrolling habits.
Deebs is a shitkid
We don’t see his face
Amen to that
He's losing at life I mean just look at him
As others have said, this was an interesting hand destroyed by obnoxious commentary that prevents viewers from actually learning from the play
Worst commentators ever.
Does anyone on earth like Doug Polk? Anyone????
do this at a low stakes table and you get snap called
26bisket snap call with trips at a high stake table and lose 40k
You mean to tell me people play differently when they are playing a $100 dollar cash game versus $80k? Say it ain't so!
26bisket very bad fold
nah its a good fold, just a beautiful bluff. After that action Deeb's at the absolute bottom of either player's range, and his opp shouldnt be bluffing after a bet and a raise and then a shove. Sure seems like value, and Deeb doesnt beat any value. If he gets in the habit of making that call he goes broke.
I like this analysis. This really is probably a good fold. Hands down to Kaufman for getting creative.
I can't tell what's happening because that one commentator doesn't stop speaking the entire clip.
It’s Doug Polk
The commentary team sounds like 2 guy on a Twitch stream for the first time.
@@OhYeaMista And?
Terrible commentators that think we'd rather hear them than the game. Pokerstars have the best duo commentator team.
What a stupid video title - trying to tie together two hands that have nothing to do with each other
I was wondering if it was just me.
They tied together because Shaun was a total douche last time he was on poker night in America. It was a justice showing
Pichu Purchase you may dislike Shaun but it doesn't change the fact that the title is totally misleading. One hand he has the nuts and trolls Mike the mouth and the other he gets buffed of a marginal hand. It's stupid video journalism.
every hand of a session has something to do with every future hand in that session
The insecurity and bitterness is pathetic. "Years later", and it's not even a slow roll. This is some loser amateur reaching to make themselves feel like karma caught up to him when it was just a good bluff. You have to be pretty pathetic to be clinging on to a moment for so long and be this desperate for a revenge story.
Wow, the commentary on the second clip is the worst.
the commentators need to shut up, so we can hear the players banter
you can barely hear them anyway
These commentators sound like high school chicks.
U would think it is money lol
Telling Doug to shut up is like asking Rosie O'Donnell ....🤢 I can't finish that thought.
@@conorm2524 Dude, its Doug Polk who is awesome st Poker and friends with both the guys.
Damn. It’s crazy that Matt would ever think it’s even remotely acceptable to start openly talking about and breaking the hand down like that… Good on Mike for standing up for the amateur.
I loved the *_"Do you think this would work?_* As they start to see where the hand is going and see how interesting / unique of a spot it would be to bluff there.
Mr Polk we couldn’t hear what he said over ur yellin
Ok so here it’s is! I love watching these videos but seriously you need to turn the commentary way down, I would think the general consensus is that we would actually like to hear the table banter which gives a much better insight to the hand in play....and not the sound of distorted laughing, seriously guys get some decent microphones and a new sound guys because this is very amateurish...FYI I actually do enjoy commentary it just needs to blend in not drown out...food for thought. ✌️
He got bluffed out of a hand.
That happens to every poker (from time to time) that isn’t a complete donk
That's not enough punishment for Deeb.
Shawn Deeb getting owned is pretty cool considering what a scumbag he is. Guy is in there with 52s, rivers trips and can't find a call. The guy genuinely thinks he's indestructible and can slowroll someone who would never slowroll... Matusow was right about him
he is friends with Mikey. Chillax Dude
worst announcers ever? I think so. Painful.
These guys are the dumbest announcers ever they're not really professional at all
First off, It's Poker Night, not the WSOP Final Table. Second, Doug Polk's a great commentator, fish.
No, no he's not. He talks way too much. He just likes the sound of his own voice.
Commentators...
yes this brings me joy... I play on some janky tables with random players I can almost never tell if someone is slow rolling or just being a call station.
This really feels amazing!
Man, I wish I could hear the actual players.
Uh oh, someone doesn't know good poker strategy so therefore doug's commentary goes right over his head
When I heard "gangster city" I cringed so hard that i folded in half and my shoulders touched
9 high Like A Boss!
Kaufman is one of my greatest bluffers ever. [2019]
that wasn't even that good of a bluff it was crackable
Also Doug Polk commentary is unbearable, lower/mute/prevent him from commentating next time. Please and thanks.
Great caption. "Slow roller gets owned"= "Poker player loses a pot 2 years after slow-rolling someone in central new york".
good for him! this video made my day!
Anyone know what the table talk was about? Couldn't hear over the cackles.
Cant stand Shaun Deeb... but this was not a taste of his own medicine or even payback. He got bluffed out of a hand. WHOOPEEE... Not the first time and I'm sure it wont be the last. What I was HOPING was going to happen is someone slow rolled HIM with quads or even a straight flush taking about as much time in the tank as he did on this hand. THAT would have been sweet.
Saw
So agree, cant stand that fat piece of fuck!
Exactly what I was hoping for as well. Disappointing
deebs frequently slow rolls he definately deserves to be bluffed looks good on em
This is the one kind of game in which you DO NOT need commentary/announcers for. Most who watch know the game and if you dont look it up on how to play it. It’s incredible annoying listening to them chirping about when I actually would rather here the players.
who is that commentator laughing like a high school boy every 5 minutes ?
J J Doug Polk
Good to see the troll getting trolled
More Nick Schulman doing commentary, less juvenile Doug Polk.
Doug “ omg” Polk
Lmao what could you POSSIBLY be thinking!?!?!?!
It's hilarious to see Hellmuth at 9:30 laughing at the shown bluff.
phil loves blefff
@@Thiiink giv eme cips
At the end of the day, I think it’s probably the correct fold. Because that spot is massively, massively under-bluffed and it’s just hard to find many bluffs there, at all. Especially because I don’t think he’s ever merging any made hands to bluffs there.
Awesome, awesome hand though. That was awesome.
please post more videos of Shaun Deeb getting cornholed, and much less commentary from Dolk Polk...TIA
Glad he got bluffed, he's annoying af, that
Piggy face at the end was priceless

Uzbek Gamer stick to video games kid, I'd smoke u in poker. Do u have a ps4?
Sofa King
Stick to video games kid
Pichu Purchase
Another winner, stick to collect pokimon
@Sofa: Kinda looks like you're just easily annoyed by fat people. Why would Seiver make you cringe? He's great.
Shaun Deeb is the Patrick reed of poker.
Board camera upside down Is pretty annoying
Busted that slow roller to smitherinres!
Must feel like hell... "what you do to others.. will be done to you" on this earth before you say good bye... so stay humble!!!
Deeb probably thought what most of us would've thought, that Kaufman had suited 3-5....
If Helmuth folded to that there would be high fives all around.
I wouldn't be able to fold that
For the first time ever, I agree with something Dentale said.
The little girls giggling the whole time ruined this...
Another reason where deep pockets have no fear! Lmao 28 k with 9 high. Wonder how many times that actually works?
Mike Matusow owned himself when he said "give him a minute, he has a tough decision". That's why there all laughing.
Still no excuse for deeb to slowroll like that
Matusow didnt say that.
The person who said it knew Deeb had the goods. He gave him a head not that Mike didn't see.
made my day
It would be nice to actually hear the table
Doug is the worst commentator
I would have added how dejected Deeb looked after the hand. Deeb deserves all the collateral damage he can take. Amazing hand by Jeremy. He's good for the game.
Five minutes and no one called a clock? That's a chill group of poker players.
it's not a tournament, blinds aren't going up. In a cash game when facing an all-in decision it's more common to give the players more time if they need it
TILT POWERS ACTIVATED !!!!
Funny phill hellmuth.. He thought he catch his weakness. Lol
there WAS a version of this, where you could hear the TABLE TALK and not Doug Polk ruining the hand.
"Matt needs to stfu." LOL Best casual announcer comment EVER!
we also needed the commenters to STFU aswell
The only hands Deeb should have worried about were A2 or 44. You have to call there.
oh my head....i accidentally choose a video with hellmuth and didn't realize it was a doug (long fekking winded) polk video and quickly leave....and then i choose this video and here's doug.....yeeeesh....
Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY is awesome
can you guy please tell me who is the slow roller in this match? ans why?
The slow roller is in the first portion of the video, basically he has the nuts (quad 5s) and his opponent has already made his move, so deeb has no tactical advantage to not reveal his cards other than to upset his opponent, its very unsportsmanlike and considered a dick move
Mike Matusow is somewhere on his scooter tipping his hat
MATUSOW HAD A BLOWUP TEE SHIRT LMAO
Packing trips with that flop. Da
Polk is now my fav commentator. Either him or Nitucci
He folded, got bluffed and the commentator says "that was a good call"
WTF??? obviously he made a bad call ,he lost!!
He said it was a good fold, in poker it's not the results but the results over time and normally a raise on the river means a boat and calling off 40K with just trips is a quick way to go broke. Basically when Deeb's raised the river with trips he was looking for a bit more value but then gets jammed on, usually it's a boat on the river raise but the river got 3bet (raised the raise). Basically Deeb's repped a boat and Kaufmann repped a big boat. If Deeb's made a mistake it was not just calling the river if anything since raising is getting pretty thin hoping for a tilty call from Ax.
@@lance862 do you find it weird you are explaining such fundamental mathematical concepts to a guy named PYTHAGORAS101
lance862 except kaufman is a lunatic and therefor you should snapcall if you decide to raise the river..
yeah you can't be results orientated, sometimes a good fold is still a losing fold and a good call could be a losing call
Mike likes this video 480 times
I would have fallen for Kaufman's bluff for sure. He's acting so casual. Wouldn't have re-raised my 2's, though.
Easy for me to say because hindsight is 20/20, but I'm not raising there unless I'm willing to call if he shoves.
Well, you would be making a mistake. Can’t be afraid to raise fold. Dude just made a really good play. You need to get value from Ace x.
These commentator for poker came straight off the kiddy tables
deeb is a god he should be praised he has the heart to fold trips for good tv and make the table happy hes rich so he loves the image of folding trips i hate online poker its rigged
Doug says “I mean” like every other word. I can’t stand the “l mean” people. Tons say it all day and night and I mean they don’t even know.lol
Most underrated comment ever.
Hellmuth was at that second table? I didn't hear a word.
Good bluff against a good player
Wow. Stone cold bluff with nothing against trips. Just amazing. I wouldn't have folded.
Always loved Freddy, he was one of my all time favs!!! Can’t image having him as a teacher growing up. Shawn is very good in his own right.
They’re not related lol
Sean's probably better anyway lol
This guy became Phil Ivey for one hand.
That's what you get for slow rolling with quads AND for playing 25.
if deeb can have duece so can jeremy, especially ace duece, , and if deeb can have 52 jeremy can have 53, , either way it proves something the best player i ever knew used to say, "The KEY to poker is aggression, the SECRET to poker is folding" i don,t know if thats true but i never forgot it.
Just watched this video today. Was that Vanessa Selbst commentating for the second video?
Epic bluff. Justice.
I'm surprised no one called the clock.
Billy Begood There's no clock in cash games and I'm fairly sure PNIA is cash.
baldspotspanker That's interesting, but I don't think that's universal. For example, I know for a fact that at the WinStar in Oklahoma you can call the clock in a cash game. It's quite rarely done, but I've seen it and I've done it.
@@billybegood466 clock with so many cash on the table? no fuckin way.
In your face, Trips deuces with that flop turn and river I will definitely call.
Did Doug Polk have his first beer this night or what
Shame that only the commentators can hear what’s being said at the table and all we can hear is Polk screaming into the mic.
The only thing I'm trying to evaluate is why he didn't snap call
9 high like a boss haha
I would’ve called Kaufman immediately. His chest was heaving like a chic in a Spanish Soap Opera.
Shut the fuck up
re-raising the 5-2 with trips was a fatal mistake..... Im sorry, but if i'm not dead set on what your holding,,, i'm gonna worry about my kicker issue.... Strong play with the bluff!
In reality he should have made the call. If the guy did get luckier than him he would have wanted to extract max value. The bet seemed off because it was.
Thus is everything wrong with poker today. He was getting props for a all in Donkey move.
They must have paid a huge appearance fee to get Mike to Central NY
Nine high like a boss.
that 5 deuce was a donk raise on the river. no reason to raise. he is either bluffing or got the nuts. he beat himself twice in that hand
The last one was clearly no slow roll
What do I click to get my last 10 minutes back?
Incredible
