- Tangential Zygomatic Arch (Unilateral): Start with the patient in the SMV position, off-centered toward the side of interest with IOML parallel to the image receptor (perpendicular to the floor). Rotate head 15 degrees toward the side of interest and tilt 15 degrees away from the side of interest. Center to skim the cranium approximately 1" posterior to the outer canthus, through the arch with tight collimation. Thanks to Jerre Erwin and George Hutti for their collaboration in this video!

My name is Jeremy Enfinger, and I've been teaching for JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology programs since 2005. I work full-time in management now for a large hospital system in San Diego, while I continue to teach on an adjunct basis because, well, I simply love radiography!

That's great job, but where is the radigraphs related to position?
I have separate videos reviewing positioning criteria with the textbook radiographs ua-cam.com/video/AJnUIiW7LAg/v-deo.htmlsi=-SWS8M3sfM8EiaBC - Eventually I'll get around to more image critique videos for each of these views as well, but there's only so much time in a day... those will have to be done in the future.
