Is it a coincidence when I was having a conversation with a mate the day before about putting a sub or a speaker under my chair so I can experience some rumble feedback while sitting on a chair. (Which afterwards I mentioned about the existence of the Buttkicker.) Then today you uploaded this....
I built one myself with a big woofer. Just pushed in the dustcap ( that really hurt... ) , put a longer industrial screw in it filled with glue and mounted this screw onto the chairs metal part. (I also fixed the screw to the edge of the speaker again with a flexible thin wood piece which takes a bit away from the vibrations but will help taking weight off the voice coil. Fun DIY Project nearly for free with an old speaker and such an enrichment to the gaming setup :D
Bass shakers are also great for a musically synchronized massage experience not just movies. So after a bad day at work, put on some A$ap and feel those muscles loosen up by those hard sub-bass notes, or put on some decaf for even more pain relief while you are sitting on the bass shaker equipped chair.
So coool good work man !!! I think do this with buttkicker lfe since a long time to use in combinaison with my subpac s2 maybe later upgrade to subpac x1 ;) .
@@MyStonerMind420 wait you _want_ only freq. under 30? 😂 sry I'm confused. I'm planning on getting a similar setup and the shakers I'm using are rated for 10-80hz.
I recently bought a smaller 100w no name bass shaker off ebay to use on my playseat evolution , so I can get a much better rumble when racing. I still need to make an adapter to fit it to the frame but I am excited to get it working!
What am I watching?? Oh it’s my favorite channel, got a bit lost when you mentioned ‘subwoofer’ love it love ❤️ it I want a butt kicker too so I don’t have to do it myself as usual. 😸
Great video, thanks for sharing. I have a BK concert for my applications where I need to go below 10Hz, but I am still looking for a good PA for that. I saw you're using a Crown XLS amplifier.. which model exactly are you using? a XLS1002? Could you suggest some other choices to get vibrations below 10Hz like the ones you show here? Any advice is welcome!
So I just updated my fire/smoke/rising heat/co2 detector system. It came with a giant haptic motor for my son's bed that will blur ones vision that we bolted to his bed frame. Studies were done and they found teen boys will sleep through fire alarms....🤔so I asked for one and I might mount it to a helmet and then set it as my wake up alarm☺️
my Yamaha RV-X457 has a crossover that goes down to at least 40hz and up to 200hz but im using a Logitech Z-3500 sub that is literally band-pass with a 6.5 in sub in it but i removed the amp from the back of it since my neighbor gave it to me without the remote and i power the damn thing with a kinter amplifier making it easy to turn up or down the sub it self.........i have it tuned to 60hz but the thing is what hits deeper band pass or ported?????? P.S. my dad has a Orion cobalt 1200 watt 12" in his truck any tips????

Not sure if you are aware of this or not but you've set the amp to only output upto 30Hz, that is anything at or below 30Hz. You can set the low pass as high as you like and it would output everything below that setting and cut out everything above it. Great video though, That thing has some mad power!
@@MyStonerMind420 Ah okay, I wasn't gonna say anything because you probably knew what you were doing. But just incase, I thought I'd mention it. I thought you might've got low pass and high pass mixed up or something.
Is it possible to connect the buttkicker to an AVR or do you really need a seperate amp for the buttkicker? If you do need a seperate amp, how do you connect that seperate amp to your AVR (for example Yamaha aventage a2040) setup so it works in sync? How do you change the settings (low pass and high pass) so it works with the settings of your AVR. The crossover for my speakers is set at 80Hz and all the frequencies below 80Hz are coming through my subwoofer. Do you need to put the low pass also to 80Hz on that seperate amp so they synchronize or does that not matter and they don’t have nothing to do with each other? I hope someone can answer me.🙏🏼❤️
a lot of the time my Kef psw 2010 is off as its to bassy downstairs one of these would be nice to use my mission m71 speakers put out nice bass and not overpower everything.
I tried 2, didn't need 2. 4 won't fit, plus the effect is meant to be subtle. Anyway they're designed for bigger things like multiple seat couches and people tend to use 2 on those. Btw the smaller ones made for chairs are puny in comparison to these.
hey. I want to build my First Bluetooth speaker.. i got 4 tweeters with 25W (8ohm) wach and dont know what stuff i need 😅 i Hope someone can Help me with a 60W sub (Low budget project)

Tactile transducers have been around for ages. Its a shame theyre not used very much leading the cost to be so high

30Hz low pass means it will only pass frequencies _under_ 30Hz. Thanks for the demo though!

Nice
Did this with my chair, with the amp also screwed under it.
that could end badly, be carefull
Try sitting down quickly and see if the screws get your ass
usually the goal is to keep the amplifiers away from the vibration.

It works like a haptic motor feedback on smartphones because the modern vibration motors its like a coil

Do you use a tripod when filling lots of this or do you just have extremely stable hands. I only see one hand at a time mostly so I Don't know

Try to mount it on a bathtub so it would make a huge speaker and probably move the water around

You don't want higher than 30hz dumb ass.
Yup, was about to say the same thing. It's how "high" you want freqs on low pass to go. If you have it on high pass it says how low you want to go.

Hi, It's possible to connect this system to a sound bar home theater system like a Nakamichi Shockwafe Ultra 9.2 SSE?
only if there is a subwoofer output on your device, that would then have to connect to the amplifier powering the shaker.
