That was really really well done! I hope this video gets a ton more views, it deserves it. You may want to make an instructable and then link it to this video to pull in that DIY community, though they'll want to know stuff like the mapping software used and such (It was interesting to see the structured light mapping...). Regardless this was great work, really well done!

One of the ways I got some of my projects a lot of exposure was to create instructables there that explained how to do them, and link to the youtube video as the demo to show it off. Instructables is it's own community, so you don't compete with the search terms that youtube provides. Two of my instructables sent about 8,000 views each to two of my videos when I was just getting started on youtube...but more importantly, it got the work I did exposed a bit more and helped others that wanted to do it. It's just an idea based on what you want to get out of this..if you want them to simply enjoy the show that'd be a different route, but if you want to inspire to build it, then an instructables article is the way to go IMO!
Olszewski Disneyland Main Street USA Fan - I use quite a few computer programs to create this show. First I created the castle using illustrator. I then created the show using a product called lightform. It’s an awesome projection mapping tool. I created the context for the show using its software and some animation using Adobe After Effects. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately I don’t believe Lightform has that capability, so I just made it work. I appreciate you checking out the project!

@nicoleng hi, thanks for reaching out. Yes, unfortunately Lightform is not longer in business . There product it’s really amazing. If you can’t find a used Lightform projector anywhere, any projector will work. lightform is just amazing, simple and a user friendly way to map things with there software. There are some amazing videos on UA-cam about projection mapping using Adobe after effects, I’d check those out if you haven’t. But really the projector can be anything you want. It all depends on what you are trying to map and the size you may need.

Thank you! I really appreciate it. Unfortunately I was not able to automate it in Lightform. I was able to cue it in Aftereffects with the music. I do believe there are some extensions to help Lightform react with music but I do not believe we have the ability to cue things in that program.

@MCPWishesParks I built the drafting in Adobe Illustrator, Cut it out using my Glowforge and Created the show in Adobe After effects. Then I projection mapped it using my Lightform. Hope this helps!

@@jeremyplayzyt there are many ways to projection map and many different programs that can help you do so. There are also tones of really awesome videos on UA-cam. I’d suggest searing for “how to projection map” on UA-cam. There are honestly lots of different ways depending on what you programs you may be used to or know how to use.
