@@hollygeorge1798 I took everything apart to replace the leather gear gaiter but as far as I could tell you can’t separate it, I’m not a mechanic but my dad is and he couldn’t figure it out either 😬🤣

This is something I've been thinking too, not a fan of these ''cobra''-knobs. Sadly, it looks to be so complicated that no one has bothered to make round ball knob for these.

thank you for the video very helpful, i have the same car but the OPC version and the rubber on the gear knob is sadly falling into pieces and i cant seem to find it around here in the UAE, could you please let me know if there is a shop that sells this part you know about; i can contact them and ship it here, would be great help.
