  • The Precision Racing Parabolic Steering Stabilizer Steering Stabilizer is used by Factory KTM and Factory Husqvarna racers, offering 20 low speed adjustments and 12 high speed adjustments to help dampen steering for all types of riding. This motorcycle steering damper mounts to the handlebar between the two handle bar clamps. After installing the Precision Racing Parabolic Steering Stabilizer on his 2021 GasGas MC 450F, Kobee gives his ride review and compares this stabilizer to others on the market to give a better idea of what a properly set up steering damper can do for your motorcycle.

    I just put one of these on my 300xc. First let me say this is a quality piece of engineering. Very well built. Easy install and seems to work very well w a very small footprint. Tucks rt under stock bars and is not obtrusive at all. One of the main reasons I purchased. Very happy w this so far. You are also able to reach these people for tech support at any time as well. Little pricey but you get what you pay for.

    Being able to remain at stock bar height is huge but $600 is brutal

      They're all $600 thought. I have run Scotts forever and once u get the mounts and top mount for mounting bark busters and eveyrthing else you're in way over $600.

      @@SkinnySkinch You're absolutely right about that. It's also why the whole industry is ripe to get picked off by someone designing a unit and having it manufactured you-know-where. Ironically it'll probably be a Tusk brand, since RMATV are the biggest design thieves in the industry.

    Very good to know how beneficial the stabilizer is for high speed bumpy riding. Maybe costs will come down a little when more people buy. 🔥💪

    Had one and it was good until the hi-speed kicked in one day glancing a rock in the side of a rut. It took way to long to go back to low speed and with the bars basically stuck, it forced me off the trail before releasing the bars. I turned the hi-speed down a couple of clicks and it was fine but still never trusted it after that. Also, it was setup exactly how Precision Racing shows in their video . Went to the GPR V5 Pro with the recessed upper triple clamp (only raised bars 2mm) instead and it's been flawless.

      Are you still liking your v5? I am in the market to buy a stabilizer but can’t decide which one.

    I have one on my 450rx, not happy with the dampening back to zero. This unit does what it says, but hit a rock or root that throws the bars to one side and you fight to get the bars back to straight.

      @rmatvmc  Рік тому

      That's interesting. Thank you for the feedback. Have you tried adjusting the amount of damping?

      @@rmatvmc YES I HAVE, I EVEN TALKED TO THEM DIRECTLY. I RAN A W.E.R. FOR YEARS AND THAT UNIT HAS VERY LITTLE, IF NOT ANY DAMPENING BACK TO STRAIGHT. I HAVE FOUND A SETTING THAT I CAN LIVE WITH, BUT IF I HAD KNOWN I MAY HAVE WAITED FOR ANOTHER UNIT. NO ONE HAS ANYTHING FOR A 2021 CRF450RX

    Stock bar height is cool but us taller guys need the height increase. That price seems crazy for what your getting but thats just me

    Can this be used for street riding? 500 EXC-F Supermoto conversion for street only.

      This is designed more for off-road use but you could certainly still use it on your bike.

      @@rmatvmc thanks guys. Is there another brand you’d recommend more for riding street or is it the same answer for all of the stabilizers? I get a little head shake in 6th gear tapped sometimes and that’s a little sketchy on the street at 95mph

    I've ridden with and without stabilizers and the only place I ever felt they did anything was high speed desert riding other than that I think the cost to benefit ratio just isn't there, I never felt any benefit in slower more technical enduro riding which is also why you never see pro factory riders running stabilizers, for what it costs by the time you by all the mounts, adapters or whatever else is required for your particular application it's money better spent else where.

    Tried buying one from you earlier this week but you said they don't make one for my bike even after asking you to look further into this. I then contacted Precision Racing and they said "sure, we have one for your bike". Cool option to be able to just go to the supplier that knows their product line verses a dealer that refuses to do some basic research that goes beyond whatever their computer screen tells them. SMH.

      Hey Pete, sorry for the trouble and missing machine apps. Which bike do you have? I'd love to either update our model apps/ beef up our coverage if we can. Thanks! - Wes
