Yeah my friends and I rented an Airbnb in New Orleans some years back. The picture of where we were staying looked super nice, but once we got there we realized we were staying in the 9th WARD. This area was hit the hardest by hurricane Katrina and it SHOWED. The house we stayed at was like the only house on the street that was refurbished. The house right next to us was in ruins STILL. And our Uber driver had to warn us about being out and about at night and just being safe. So a heads up would’ve been nice 😅
They’ve OBVIOUSLY NEVER Air BNB’ed because you can literally see the address and where they’re located on the map!!!! 😂 I mean unless the boujie ones don’t 😂 but the decent affordable AirBNB’s they let you see the address before!
I’ve used Airbnb a few times and even I would’ve taken that $90 deal because I wouldn’t know any better. I’ve never been to New York, so I don’t know what neighborhoods cost more. You can find a nice 1-2 bedroom house on Airbnb for $90 here in Kansas and Missouri, so that’s what I’m used to. 🤷🏼♀️
This happened to me. My first and LAST time ever using Air B&B. The place was advertised as being in one area but it was NOT that area it was in a run down "hood" area. I promptly got a REFUND as soon as I got the actual address!
Yep, I had a bad experience in Boston. Nice neighborhood, friendly host. H O W E V E R! She had a freaking dog. I do not like dogs. Actually scared of dogs. It wasn’t in her profile but it was said in the reviews. Read the reviews!
I don't know about y'all, but the Airbnb's that I've been to here in Africa are the best! They are basically like rental houses. There aren't any hosts present, and the houses look so amazing, and chic.
Not only does it suck when it's not why you wanted, you don't have anywhere to stay at that moment because it's too late and most places are booked up the day of or the night of.
I stayed at an Airbnb with 12 friends. The place accommodated for 8 so we doubled up for sleeping and the site said that it accommodated for 6 cars. For starters there was only room for 4 cars because the garage had the owner's car in the center of it and we couldn't park on the street or grass or else we'd get towed. We woke up on Sunday morning and the two cars parked in the driveway closest to the street got towed for "blocking the sidewalk" we spend half of that day trying to get the cars back from the towing company once having to scour the internet to find which towing company it was. So in actuality the place only accommodated for 2 cars, but 8 people. We told the owner this and she was kind of rude about it and offered no kind of recompense for what happened. Not a good experience.
Tarama needs Airbnb Plus by the sounds of things, it blends hotel services with private rentals. Also they forgot "never pay outside the platform", thats a big one, since they seem to be aiming this at people who still somehow don't know about Airbnb.
Sometime with google you can find the address even before you book it with VRBO they have names like Cozy Cone Cabin Big Bear and when you enter that in search on google the address comes up and even sometime these places have more the one booking agency with the same name like vrbo, Airbnb, etc and sometime the price isn’t always the same

We did not end up paying for the airbnb, but I did have to pay more for the hotel because it was very last minute and it was hard finding any available hotels. Never again!
I only used air b&b once, and that was for vacation, over seas. Got a good deal in Beverly Hills once on an Airbnb. Had two private rooms/1bathroom with private entrance to a multimillion dollar home that was $75 a night. They’ve since raised the price though 🤣 I think they figured out they could charge a lot more
I had a bad experience with Airbnb, I booked with a female host , when I arrived it was a male there eating dinner. When I asked where the female host was, he responded "she's on vacation" . This absolutely freaked me out. He should me around. i went into the bedroom, locked the door and looked for the nearest hotel and called a Uber. I would also like to shout out the uber drive I told about this situation who totally didnt charge for the ride, and The Hyatt hotel downtown ATL who provided me free dinner and accommodations due to this scare

Not completely accurate! Some people own condos/rooms on resorts and during the time they aren't there they can rent them on Airbnb. I rented an Airbnb in Mexico that was on a 5-star resort and it included housekeeping every day but it was half the price of paying through the hotel.

Don't be scared. Just do your research like they said. Make sure to look at all the pictures and if they dont provide outside views don't pick it. Look for comments that say how it looked and that it's just like the pictures. The only problems I've ever had was that the place was smaller then I expected because pictures can make it look bigger. Still wasn't a problem, but never had a real issue. Look for ones that you can cancel and not be charged a fee

It's like children (Adrienne & Jeannie) explaining mommy Loni new stuff and mommy still dont get it lool
Yeah, but some hosts offer partial refunds for false positive reviews. If you have a bad experience
The last two Airbnb's I had listed the address before I booked it. I didn't have to wait. The first one I got a had to wait though. I think they each do it differently.
If you ever been to new york, and known which place this is, makes this bummy on the buyer's part and hilarious that they posted the projects on Airbnb sites
Tamera looks stunning!
yesss i had one in west hollywood LA and we were EVICTED because the owner didnt pay his rent !!!!!
Beeba what?! People are crazy out here.
We just had an air bnb that we were disappointed in a couple weeks ago. The pictures were deceiving and they didn’t mention shared space.
Tam, you'll be more chill at an Airbnb home, hotels are annoying more expensive and have less space. Book with a super host you'll never regret it.
I visited people who did Airbnb, but I never did Airbnb myself.
Yea ! I have booked Airbnb's for a group of 10 and is the same price as if I were getting it for just two people. Is a cool app.
Loni needs to chill... She's been so off putting lately.
Shut up
@@camille98tt you first 😍
Sherrine Leighton u hate when black women tell their opinions lmao
@@camille98tt I- ... Im literally a darskinned black girl.. i just think that Loni was a bit rude the way she cutting ppl off and rolling her eyes when they were talking..
Sherrine Leighton Nah lol she’s a comedian she’s always joking. Adrienne always be the one cutting people off
*Address after reserved? Never heard of that*
helllllll nah! tired air bnb and it is NOT for me. vacation is vacation and is to REST. I don't want to follow any cleaning rules or any weird requests that the owners have....HOTELS all day for me. sorry not sorry
Adrienne looks sooo good! She clearly is doing something right. Share your secret cause the weight loss is REAL!
Not completely accurate! Some people own condos/rooms on resorts and during the time they aren't there they can rent them on Airbnb. I rented an Airbnb in Mexico that was on a 5-star resort and it included housekeeping every day but it was half the price of paying through the hotel.
I’m crying 😭 Chelsea project. They did them soooooo wrong. I honestly feel like that mom and daughter did not properly read cause lordddddd 😭😭😭😭 straight to court I’m taking you lol
I’m with Tam! I’m not really into Airbnb’s I just rather have a luxury experience when I’m on vacation at a 4-5 star hotel. Lol.. maybe I’ll try to Airbnb one day.
I'm now officially at that point in my life were I'd like Loni's hair up...frfr😣
Engelaine Nghituwamata was there something her hair? Lol
Tamera I adore you but Room Service????? 😂😂😂😂😂
I've never air bnb either and don't plan on it.
See this is why I’m scared to get an Airbnb, I’ll just stick to hotels🤦🏾♀️
Don't be scared. Just do your research like they said. Make sure to look at all the pictures and if they dont provide outside views don't pick it. Look for comments that say how it looked and that it's just like the pictures. The only problems I've ever had was that the place was smaller then I expected because pictures can make it look bigger. Still wasn't a problem, but never had a real issue. Look for ones that you can cancel and not be charged a fee
