We get snow during winter here in UK... but what a fun, different, idea to make/send a bright card instead of a snowy scene :) u get me everytime thinking ?, just b4 u take off the masking tape, then... wow! - thanks for posting :)

Natasha, I like what you said about having too much stuff can clutter your brain. I downsized about four years ago, but I have decided not to get rid of stuff that I have not tried yet. I’m going to give it one or two tries, and if I don’t like it, then it goes in my craft thrift store box. I just recently broke out Perfect Pearls! I think I’m going to keep them, but I will probably never buy them again simply because they last forever! Thank you for this wonderful reminder about tone on tone stenciling! With Christmas and Hanukkah coming up it’s a good way to make thank you cards in advance! Love the black silhouette.

I liked when you said, the more options you have the more confused and cluttered your brain gets. I totally understand that. I’m a compulsive shopper and I have a ton of supplies. And then I get overwhelmed and don’t know where to start. Too many options.

Great cards. I always have some decoupage things in a bag to cut out if I run out of ideas and by the time I've cut them out I usually have some inspiration for more cards.

Being able to use the same color ink twice on the designs makes it to much easier than trying to find a complimentary color that won't change a great deal when applied over the base ink. I think I would have liked to see the foliage done here as a shadow in black applied as a green foliage if it keeps its color over the blue. More of a nature look with sky & foliage. Simple techniques give so many use what you have options in card making. Or make what you want in the color you need or want. Flipping through Designer print paper can be fun. But it gets time consuming to find an affect you want for this purpose. Great ideas today.

Very special cards! I love the crisp border and keeping the ink colors to a minimum. I also like the slightly less then perfect background because it gives a lot of texture to a flat card. Brilliant, as usual!! Well done!!

Love the thank you card! I agree about the white edge when cutting out stamped images with matching dies. I think the white edge is distracting. I would rather fussy cut it.
