I'm positive that AB will definitely be a great player. The assessment that this 6th pick wasn't good is legit if you look at the stats only. But if you look at his game and the potential upside of him is tremendous. He is still very young and looks like a kid out there. Once he matures and earned his role/status he will be awesome. He is a great defeneder but I think he will also be a real offensive force if he gets more confidence and more minutes. Let him grow and find his feet and you will absolutely love this pick in some time.

Playoff teams don't play rookies. The Magic drafted two raw players with upside but they need to develop. We can always sign role players if we need them. In the next 2 seasons AB and Jett will get their chance to show something
For the last two weeks, Mosley seems to b figuring out playoff lineups... AB will be used as mostly a defensive specialist for the rest of the season... As you said, we can't play rookies right now... It's crunch time

Not a hot take to say we screwed up our picks. If the intent was a contributer this year. AB has shown potential but neither has been the team changing factor other players available have become. But hopefully they develop and down the road and change this narrative.
