A unique healthcare facility in one of the windiest parts of the UK - NHS Orkney

Building a £65m hospital and healthcare facility in one of the most remote parts of the UK is challenging enough in itself, but when you factor in average wind speeds that are twice as fast as the national average, it becomes even more challenging.
From supply chain and logistics management to product specification, Robertson, the contractor for the project, called on us for our technical expertise and support. The products needed to provide the best in impact resistance, plus fire and acoustic performance, as well as enhanced air quality. We utilised a range of products, from GypWall Extreme for extra durability to Gyptone ceiling tiles to clean the air indoors.
