Im picking if Herons were 18ft tall they would definitely be on the menu imagine the drumsticks!!...Be dead easy to kill as well... "Hey Bob just let it try and eat you and we will kill it while its gnawing on you"
I would assume the rabbit was already dead or disabled with injury or ailment. It's unlikely a crane could capture & kill a rabbit since it lacks talons like a hawk or an owl.
I'd never eaten one that big before. I had to keep pausing to see if the rest would fit down my throat. I kept wondering if I'd bittern off more than I could chew. Paused for breathing a few times. Can get tricky with big things.
I wonder how long they go on that one large meal before they eat again. 🤔🙃 If it was a boa constrictor they wouldn’t need to eat for a long time but Herons seem to be eating all the time!
I saw a video where a bald eagle ate a heron in somebody’s front yard and it was caught on camera. He plucked the blue feathers out and made a mess in their yard with feathers and entrails strewn all over.
how? HOW?? HOW is that even possible to swallow such a proportional large animal. Does it even have a stomach its size? Glad i didnt bet money on this.
If Herons were 18 ft tall we'd be in a lot of trouble
Yea! Same with chickens!!
That's a T-Rex with a beak

Metres, nobody measures in 'feet' . . .
They would be extinct by now 😂🤣
Basically a snake with wings.
Hahahaha! Amazing, one of the best comments ever!
Thanks, dude
Modern Day Pterodactyl.
Actually yes, birds evolved from reptiles, they have a lot of common
eslgurucalif ;yeah, pretty much. With a digestive system that's like battery acid, nothing of that rabbit will not be disolved !
holy shit. didn't think they would go after something as big as a rabbit.
I would assume the rabbit was already dead or disabled with injury or ailment. It's unlikely a crane could capture & kill a rabbit since it lacks talons like a hawk or an owl.
+alexreising85 young rabbits are very uneducated to risk, it will have quite easily caught a youngster, drowned it then down she goes
They use their beak as spears. Herons also kill and eat gophers.
firespinguy---No, Herons don't actually use their beaks as spears. They grab the animal in their beaks just like any other bird.
It is a baby Rabbit.
'scuse me, waiter? Ah, theres a hare in my soup! Can you please take it off my bill?🥴
very good....
I think most of the dislikes came from those who didn't watch past 0:23
Thank
Just remember, you're staring a dinosaur in the face.
Yeah, a slideshow instead of video!
If you discount the shotgun between us.
@@dontworryaboutit5989 there is video you just have to be a tiny bit patient.
@Zee Dee Joined May 17, 2020. Such a virgin account. Who can believe YOUR b.s.?
I really want to see how well it flies after consuming a meal this large. Crazy...
Wow... it's almost like they will eat anything that will fit down their throat!
one day someone will make a horror film about a mutant heron the size of an elephant
They'll die.
Jurassic park?
just need the right person to see this video :D
Or a flying battleship
He's very well mannered. His mother told him not to speak with his mouth full.
That's why they stop doing the Trix commercial ... Silly Rabbit u know what nvm 😂😂😂😂
The heron had been bribed by a gang of angry carrots.

That heron is going to need some anti-acid tablets
At the end, she's like: Now, I gots to wait til I poop so I could be light and fly again :D
even after four years since you wrote this comment, I am the only one to read and like this comment!!
@@gulshanchaurasia2233 thanks XD - I had even forgotten this video altogether!
Wow! That is amazing.
Oh dear, despite the drama I have to admit I love the painted scenery. Love it.
We are lucky they aren’t bigger than they are
The heron's lucky it isn't used in Chinese medicine as an aphrodisiac.
@@SporkSlayer poor bears and their dicks.
Actually they're lucky.
Rabbits?

Looked like it was going to choke for a second there -couldn’t get it down and couldn’t get it back up.
Herons are like ninjas prowling around for food. Impressive!
That heron wouldn't have to eat for a couple of weeks, I think.
Well, I'd certainly advise it not to try flying for a while! - and definitely not over me!
@@gunlokman lol, can you imagine getting it by a regurgitate baseball size full of that rabbit bones and fur?
That Heron probably didn't eat for a week.
Wow, what a fascinating capture!
I now find myself keeping a closer eye on this bird locally to see what they're gonna do next.
Wow....guess Seagulls and Pelican's got nothing on Herons
I'm not going to think for a minute how that rabbit is going to come out from behind in a few more hours.
White liquid.
I see a heron swallowing a rabbit and automatically think 'poor little rabbit' but if I see a rabbit in a tasty stew I think 'Mmmm! tasty rabbit'.
I know it’s nature and all but the sound the bunny makes as it gets grabbed by the heron is :c
Herons don't have rabbit processing facilities, so that they can get their food nicely packaged and sold in a store. 😉
NIce and beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. BIg Like
I love a "Hoppy" ending.
Wow awsome thanks for posting.
Wow! Crazy! Thank for the wider and you fantastic camera job!
That bird is gonna take the largest shit of its life.
The fewer the rabbits, the better. I like Blue Herons just that much better.
BUGS BUNNY's biggest nightmare!
Take that, Logic!
Forget tigers and lions, herons are the most vicious animal on the planet. Eats everything mercilessly
I wonder how long they go on that one large meal before they eat again. 🤔🙃 If it was a boa constrictor they wouldn’t need to eat for a long time but Herons seem to be eating all the time!
There goes the old dip it in the water routine. Its straight down the hatch after that.
Impressive!! It's a wonder those birds don't choke to death with what they eat. Lol
Great Blues do not fuck around.
Damn nature, you scary!
Good footage mate! Think this video is going to do well! 👏👏👏👏
I think it will as well.
*_I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYBODY SAYS. I LOVE HERONS! THEY DO WHAT THEY HAVE TO DO, AND THEY'RE BEAUTY TO MY EYES!_*
I love ducks and since they eat their ducklings I don't like them.
Omg when that thing craps
...
I can’t believe I ate the whole thing!
Same way I power through a Big Mac.
How does it do to approximate to a rabbit less than 1 m?
Can I uses it for birds conservation documentary ?
Modern-day velociraptor
I’ve been chowing down all wrong it seems! That Rabbit did the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs.
Extrapolate backwards and imagine what the dinosaurs were like.
That bird will never fly again after that meal
Did it succeed or die from eating something so big?
Looks totally natural at the end

@G Sav: Yep brains that live continually in the gutter.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣and they eat biger things
never woulda thought that was possible.
How often do they eat like that that's incredible
Hare today...gone tomorrow
Heron is ruthless
Didn’t think it could swallow something that big.
herons beaks are razor sharp and can stab through lot of things
Very successful predator. That specie is sure to survive.
The Heron was now too heavy to fly and was eaten by a croc
I saw a video where a bald eagle ate a heron in somebody’s front yard and it was caught on camera. He plucked the blue feathers out and made a mess in their yard with feathers and entrails strewn all over.
The heron dipped the rabbit in water the same way you dip a French dip sandwich in au jus.
Do herons regurgitate pellets of fur and bones etc. like other birds of prey?
Presumably.
I admire heron enormous throat.
I love these birds
It’s like Joey Chestnut. It had to wash the meal down with a little river water.
I hope it was able to fly after eating that rabbit, I've never seen a flying pregnant-heron. 🌚
Damm those birds eat anything
Dips him in the water to make him easier to swallow...experienced heron
So it’s a dunked rabbit.🤓
Great capture
But the Otter showed who was boss and ate the Heron later on!
that neck looks like a boa constrictor...damn...
Wow.
That's impressive
I never knew a heron was one of the Thousand. El-Hrairah preserve us!
Cant imagine eating my food witout biting into it first😋
Good Lord!!!
That's horrifying!
Thats gonna be me with chipotle tonight
Heron's are beast bro....
Everything eats rabbit... they seems to be at the lowest part of the food chain right even lower than plants
It's amazing they have a problem with boa's in Florida with anything like this in the ecosystem.
same as others wow
greetings from darwen
Well I would never of believed this if I was told about it, this camera never lied!!....
Is there anything that herons WON’T eat?
Amazing
I love rabbits (my favorite animals), but Herons need to eat too you know? It kinda resembles a dinosaur, doesn't it?
how does it breathe with that rabbit log jammed in its throat
humans are living with dinosaurs...
You know there always a Bigger Predator
did the heron just fucking drown the rabbit? wow..
Tell me this isn't so. TELL ME!
Not Bun E.
No!! 🐇🐰
Glad they don't grow to 30ft. Beaten, drown, swallowed whole not how one wishes to go.
Yummy that was a good dinner and now I can go home with my belly full of rabbit
Darn... BBQ rabbit on menu... wow
how? HOW?? HOW is that even possible to swallow such a proportional large animal. Does it even have a stomach its size? Glad i didnt bet money on this.
Do these herons ever choke on anything?...
wow - rabbit buffet... full for a month!
