Yeah I've been having a lot of trouble with sneezing. I maybe can sneeze once every two months.
I've done a bit of research into the topic but there's not really much out there. Best I can figure is that it's psychological. Like stage fright, you want to happen so badly that we sabotage ourselves. Every time I'm about to sneeze, I try really hard to make it happen like, "THIS IS IT, LET'S DO IT!" But of course it doesn't come. I've consulted professionals about this and they just laughed at me. Like it's the craziest thing they have ever heard.
One thing that has been sort of working for me is the tissue method. Twist a point of a tissue as sharp as you can and jam it up a nostril. You have to go surprisingly far back. This gives me the "sneeze coming" feeling and I just have to keep wiggling it until my brain gets tired. It sometimes works.
On another, more sensitive note. I think that this psychological issue also affects me in terms of erectile dysfunction but only when I'm with someone else. Like I want it to happen so badly and I don't want to disappoint them but I just can't turn my brain off.
Think about any other thing you like that time, it will come. It helps me

@@avneetsharma4181 how can you distract yourself with something else? It's not possible. When it comes, automatically and with no control your mind and brain thinks about it. The feeling of sneeze makes your brain to shift attention to it. OMG, it's so bad.

It's an anxiety thing for me. As someone else said on here it's like stage fright. I've struggled on and off for 15 years with sneezing. I am worried I'm doing myself damage when I lose a sneeze, wish I could turn my mind off at times as I'm a chronic overthinker.

I had the problem of not being able ti sneeze when I was infected with Covid-19. But now I'm totally fine again with sneezing. It took me around a month to return to the normal sneezing mode.

Ok so i had this problem right? To solve it i used a q-tip so i stuck the q-tip up my nose and i twirl it around and just do that in each nostril until ur able to sneeze and it worked for me (also stick the q-tip up like high but not like high enough to hurt yourself bc it wont work if u barely stick the q-tip up.)

After suffering from this sneeze stop for almost more than two weeks, I was finally able to sneeze, I think the thing that worked for me is that, first psychologically, admit that you are not able to sneeze and try to live with that( I know it's a bit hard but you have do it) than try to wash your nose from the inside with Luke warm or warm water (it is like this hold your breath a little bit and pour in water by making a cup with your hands and dip your nose in it) I did this few times every day until I was able to sneeze and you can also take steam that is helpful too.
I will try this method I can’t sneeze for More than 3 week I feel so hard but it stop 😢

@@gennaboss2022 take steam of boiled water through nose and mouth which clears the tonsils bcoz I have done the same and it helped me to sneeze slowly but completely.

I was going through this for a month and once I realized my sleep aid had the same ingredient as Benadryl I tried discontinuing that and after a few days of being off of it I was able to sneeze again! Such a relief 😅

@@nedstyle Honestly, I got sick with Covid in mid January, and was sick for a good month and a half, and I felt the symptoms kept coming in waves back-and-forth. I literally just was able to do a full sneeze for the first time last week. I am good on the sneezing part now. Thankfully. I never realized how uncomfortable it is, to not be able to sneeze! This is me. I noticed this happened to me 3 weeks ago, i went to sneeze and got a tingle on the tip of my tongue and it just stopped the sneeze dead and I haven’t randomly sneezed since. I never did sneeze a lot, maybe once twice a week at most, sometimes less than that but it’s freaking me out. I sniffed pepper to make myself sneeze and was able to sneezed then but not otherwise

I was ill for a week with sore throat, and when I got the runny nose I stopped being able to sneeze .... Interestingly, just before the runny nose happened, I sneezed about 10 times a day haha, and it was even suspicious why I'm sneezing so many times, but I thought it is just the illness! I mean I'm sure it was that. (not sure what my problem was exactly tbh but not Covid because I did a test) .... The thing is, I am not able to sneeze for a few days now, almost a week. The only time when I could was when I did the Covid test so I had to put that stick in my nose lol . but anyways...I'm really stressed out recently, had this illness as well so I hope It's just that! :D
Have u been able to sneeze yet. I am having the same problem now. Started with a little fever, runny nose etc, lot's of sneezing around 20 per hour for three days. Now I have congested nose, feel the mucus running like when little water escape in your nose while swimming. I was scared thinking it was going into my lungs. @@drylandtouristpop9827 Hey! So I am able to sneeze with the tissue method easily but it still doesn't come automatically :( It's been weeks, I'm so frustrated... I think It's kind of psychological, because when I was sneezing so many times a day (when I had cold), I tried to stop it. But yeah, it gives me serious anxiety now, I'm concerned if there is something serious , but hopefully not. When I have the feeling I have to sneeze and I can't finish it, I usually just use a tissue which helps. That's all :/

I haven’t sneezed in two mos. I noticed in the last year, I was sneezing less and less. So back in March I did a litmus test and snorted pepper. Sneezed like ten times in a row and that was the end of it. Haven’t sneezed properly in two mos. I almost did in April but cut off and then again the end of May, but it was a semi aborted sneeze.

I’m having the same issue usually I only had this issue back when I had Covid now that it’s gone I was worried I had gotten it again but that wasn’t it so I kept worrying and it only made it worst because every time I had to sneeze it wouldn’t work and I would freak out when I couldn’t I think the main culprit is overthinking it? When I try forcing myself to sneeze or keep dwelling on it It never works for me but idk how to stop thinking about it’s an annoying feeling for sure! Good luck!

@@redrixff1477 Don’t worry too much about it when I had the issue it seemed to me the more I worried about it the more desperate I got to sneeze and when the feeling would come I’d try so hard to sneeze it just wouldn’t work. Since sneezing is a reflex your body will do it without you having to try so hard. I hope you’re able to sneeze soon! Good luck! :)

Its about 3 days I cant sneeze then I force sneeze myself by tissue or something and now I can sneeze normally like before 😁

You’ll be ok I promise. Went through this couldn’t sneeze for almost 6 months. I think the problem is we are overthinking it too much and when it happens it’s like stage fright so we psych ourselves out of it.

@@kareenvarona4688 it was due a neck issue of mine but i consulted a doctor and took meds and since the pain was gone i as able to sneeze

It started in late March where Isneezed and then I randomly cast a witch spell on myself with “What if I stopped sneezing” and then after that I was left with what she said the bumbo sneeze and then my dumbass literally cursed myself again with “what if my nose couldn't blow either” so now I'm left with dust tickling my nose but no trigger.
A hack you can do is using a needle and stick it up to your nostrils and start tickling till you sneeze.
Can anybody help me? I haven't sneeze for almost 1 month.. I'm scared

I havent sneezed in 2 months i would get the feeling i wanted to sneez buh i couldnt but finally i sneezed yesterday it was a weak sneez at first buh after that i sneezed normally i read somthing that said it most likey just somthing clogged in your nose stoping it and your thinking to hard about it i really didnt try anything to make myself sneez i just road it out i think yall should be fine thoe it not common so it says
