Good video, there are issues in every aspects of an industry. I think it would be fair to expose someone from your side as well saying what you are saying like 'buy using data' :) BTW, I am not a BA or anything, just a follower of your video. Please clarify in a vide when to use a BA and how to find a good BA if you can.
For sure there are good people and bad people in every part of every industry. Lot's of dodgy courses out there too!
Unfortunately I don’t think this is what a Buyers agent can do. The market will determine what future values will be. Unless you are forcing value onto the property via a subdivision or getting a DA on the property

Are you saying that the client would have been worse off buying an investment property? I very much doubt that is the case even if his goal was not achieved in the 12 months I am pretty certain that he would still be happy that he made the purchase, maybe just a slight tweaking of information from the buyers agent which I agree may have been necessary.

Yikes! Had big hopes of becoming a BA myself, however unfortunately working in the Realestate industry it is filled with greed & this video just placed another negative thought to what I had already been pondering. Truthfully, I wanted to become a BA to genuinely assist those that were time poor. And, if you work as a sales agent then you would understand how many offices/agents do not care for buyers, it is the sellers that make time for. Which to me is a contradiction & in my humble opinion deceitful/unethical.

Guessing this was some black "dot" in the property market..I have a similar experience when they wanted to take my 18k and sell some of their regional shitty stock to me.. if I am paying 18k then I get to buy the thing that I want to (provided I can afford it).. as a buyer's agent their job should be to help me to find the thing that I am looking for and not try to sell what they think is a good investment based on their limited experience or knowledge... it's outrageous to think they charge almost 6% of their client's average purchase price to do a disservice to the industry...

Buyers Agents are only really ment for people with a large budget and wanting to purchase a very particular property.

@@AusPropertyMasteryWithPK if it’s a reputable buyers agent they will know what hits the market before anyone as they have a connection with the real estate agents. Off market deals = no competition
@@momentum28 anyone who picks up the phone with a real estate agent will get to know the off market deals.
Only difference is the buyers agent has a motive to sell you the property.
But an independent buyer doesn’t, so will turn it down - more than 70% of off markets are rubbish / they are off market for a reason
@@AusPropertyMasteryWithPKI don’t agree with you on this, for instance if a real estate agent has dealt with a buyers agent through previous sales then they will call or email them as soon as they sign up a client even if the property has issue or isn’t marketable. It takes time from sign a vendor up, getting building and pest reports, fixing issues up, to staging, then taking photos, placing up ads, opening the property up for open houses. Speed is the winner for me, I don’t need the property to be ready for market I want to know when seller is ready. Also having another set of eyes is a great advantage as you might miss a great deal.
