Gut-wrenching loss as a Hog fan, but kudos to the Aggies for coming back. Very talented team. When you get someone on the ropes you got to knock them out.
On the flip side, we were a couple of dropped passes and a falling WR away from blowing it out.........not complaining, just saying it can cut both ways....... At the end of the day luck has little to do with it. Luck is nothing more than preparation meeting opportunity head-on. When its on the line, you MAKE your own luck.......... All that said, much respect to Arkansas. Very well-played with a great rushing attack. Bielema is the right guy for that program and you guys will be back in the thick of the conference race faster than most folks know. Lots of improvement with plenty of upside down the road. SEC West is going to be a murderer's row this season. Best of luck this season, Razorbacks.............
Had we lost I would have said we played like crap and didn't deserve to win. Which was pretty much the first 3 quarters. Drops or no drops, we looked out-of-sync and the Hogs dominated the line of scrimmage...... Technically it was one TD called back on a legit holding call. The other was a 56 yard burst to the Aggie 2 yard line. Yes the Hogs could have punched it in from there, but we'll never know. The tripping penalty was a little ticky-tack in my book, but the rule can't objectively infer intent. I don't think Skipper meant to leg whip around like that; he was just trying to get back up. Unfortunately, its a subjective call from the ref and yes, another part of the game. Personally, I think you guys got jobbed on that call...... Anyways, good luck on the season.....reminded me of the glory days of the ol' SWC........ :)
Looking back: this was a much better Razorback team than the record shows. Aside from the opening stumble to Auburn and the Georgia loss, this team was close in its games against ranked teams.
Inability to finish was the name of the game all season long though. 2014 could have been SO much different had we held on against A&M and beaten Bama at home
This game was amazing to be at especially on the a&m side I also think Arkansas is better than we think they lost to Alabama by 1 point on a late touchdown
The game ball goes to Mr. Larry Jackson for having the Aggies in top condition. Arkansas flat out wilted in the fourth quarter. They were tired and couldn't get any of the push they had in the first half. All those fat boys they had up front looked like they were wearing concrete hip waders. When you get outscored 21-0 in the 4th quarter and overtime, you've got toughness issues.
***** It goes both ways. A&M left 17 points on the board in the 1st half with drops and a missed FG. Throw in a fake punt that A&M should've been prepared for; otherwise A&M is up big at the half. A&M benefited from Arkansas mistakes late, and Arkansas benefited from A&M's first half mistakes not to mention another should-be-TD early in the 3rd where Pope lost his balance.
***** I think it's both, esp with a hurry up offense. Our offense prepares for 100+ plays a game, right along with our D because our time of possession is usually around 20-25 minutes.
***** Even if that were true (it isn't), the Aggies gifted Arkansas the 2011 game, so y'all owed us one. We had y'all down by about 78 points in that one before Mike Sherman worked his magic. The lesson here is that it's a 60-minute game. The Razorback players looked dead at the end of the game. Time to find a new S&C coach.
So they left out the most important play of the game IMHO. In the 4th quarter, Arkansas was leading 28 - 14 They had the ball and were at the 50 yard line or so They threw a pass to the wide open tight end and he ran to the 3 yard line Had that play counted, Arkansas would have had 1st and goal from the 3, with a high probability of going up 35 - 14 In that case I believe Texas A&M would have lost the game However an Arkansas player was called for a 15 yard personal foul tripping penalty away from the play that resulted in setting up a 3rd and 17 instead of 1st and goal and they ended up not converting and having to punt In my mind that was the play of the game and should have been in the highlight reel
Ark probably could had another chance to tie game all the RB had to do was run to left side for a first down an maybe a TD there wasn't anybody covering the left side
I am a die hard Bama fan and have to disagree with you on this comment. I think A&M and Bama is going to be a battle, just like this game was. ROLL TIDE

Classy post. The Hogs played a heck of a game. Can't believe y'all weren't ranked. Will be looking forward to next year's game.

One of my favorite Aggie traditions is giving Arkansas fans hope and then watching the Aggies take it away at the last minute.

Kenny Hill is a beast love his poise and Malcom Kennedy will be a good pick going into next years draft
the TAMU vs Arkansas games are always a blast. Gig Em!
This game was amazing to be at especially on the a&m side I also think Arkansas is better than we think they lost to Alabama by 1 point on a late touchdown
You should upload the full game!
That Josh Reynolds game tying TD reminded me of the Bethel Johnson 02’ one against OU same moves.
Great work of the recap.

Couldn't agree more. A downside of having those HUGE linemen.

***** What about the 2 dropped TD from atm. And they also missed a fg too. Not to mention all the penalties. Arkansas had things go there way too!
Can't wait for this game next year
+achigurh88 Did you enjoy it lol
Juan Garza Yep it was a good one for sure
was there at the row 7...it was so loud and fun
This is like the most wholesome rivalry ever
So they left out the most important play of the game IMHO.
In the 4th quarter, Arkansas was leading 28 - 14
They had the ball and were at the 50 yard line or so
They threw a pass to the wide open tight end and he ran to the 3 yard line
Had that play counted, Arkansas would have had 1st and goal from the 3, with a high probability of going up 35 - 14
In that case I believe Texas A&M would have lost the game
However an Arkansas player was called for a 15 yard personal foul tripping penalty away from the play that resulted in setting up a 3rd and 17 instead of 1st and goal and they ended up not converting and having to punt
In my mind that was the play of the game and should have been in the highlight reel
I wont be surprised Aggies make it to the BCS
Gosh this video never gets old!! lol. Gig em! Way to btho Arkansas 3 TIMES IN A ROW!!!!
It's safe to say that Arkansas is not a 4QTR team. They don't even score in the last 15 minutes of any SEC games.
Lucky aggies.... GO HOGS!
Sergio Antonio Chavez lucky six years in a row
Lucky yet y’all didn’t score in the 4th quarter or late in the 4th
Ark probably could had another chance to tie game all the RB had to do was run to left side for a first down an maybe a TD there wasn't anybody covering the left side
blown coverages cost us this game
I always refer to this game when explaining to people how the NCAA is fixed
Now you can use this year v auburn 😃
Go Hogs!
GO HOGS! BRING BOBBY BACK!
I swear every ball has bounced A&M's way in this series. Arkansas cant catch a break against these guys.
Great escape win by aggies! expect them to lose to Bama, Mstate, and Auburn!
Awww...Regurgitated sour grapes? Win, lose or draw, we won't quit.
Don't forget that A&M played terribly and still won. Don't count us out yet! Whoop!
I am a die hard Bama fan and have to disagree with you on this comment. I think A&M and Bama is going to be a battle, just like this game was. ROLL TIDE
***** Inferior???! LMAO. 3 years in a row!!! Yall are lucky we played the worst game of our season or it wouldnt have even been close!!
***** Come talk to me when yall actually win an SEC game!
a
Great game, from a Mizzou fan..beat both of those quality teams...
